Top-notch legal advice

I cannot recommend Cynthia Tracy Law highly enough! She guided me through an incredibly long and difficult divorce with exceptional expertise, professionalism, and unwavering support. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly understand my situation, providing not only top-notch legal advic...e but also the reassurance I needed during such a challenging time. Her knowledge of family law is outstanding, and she always had a clear strategy to protect my best interests. She fought tirelessly for me while also maintaining a level-headed and compassionate approach that kept me grounded. I always felt heard, respected, and confident in her ability to navigate even the most complicated aspects of my case. The support staff is just as incredible—responsive, organized, and always willing to help. Every interaction was professional and kind, making a difficult process just a little bit easier. If you need a lawyer who is both highly skilled and truly cares about her clients, Cynthia Tracy is the one to call. I am beyond grateful for everything she and her team have done for me!

Overbills, Ineffective, Not worth the money at all!!

I hired this attorney regarding a child support issue and would not recommend because you would be wasting valuable time and money. I spent almost $20K and didnt get any results!! The firm cotinuously calls and asks for the same information over and over, which they charge each time they call and ch...arge every time they file the same information (a way to over bill you as a client). When you sate that you already provided said requested information, the employees at the firm (mainly Mr. Tracy, family relative) stated thats you are uncooperative and they can drop you as a client if you don't want to give the information (remember, its already been given). On one occassion, They asked to take my cell phone in another room to download its contents. When I asked why they needed my cell phone and what personal information it contains and how that applies to a family child support payment matter, they said if i dont comlpy, they have the right to drop me as a client (needed personal info on my cell phone made me feel like a criminal when I was seeking help for a family matter-child support monetary issue ). The more you ask questions, the more they claim they will drop you as a client. In fact, they dropped me after taking almost $20K in total just days before my court date!!

Too expensive, no guidance

The title sums it up. It's been a few years since my divorce and I am rebuilding my life. To be fair, my case was not simple and I had the deck stacked against me before I hired this office. However they took my case and billed me over 40k total, did not give me any guidance at all, and did not retur...n calls sometimes for over a week. Ms. Tracy was not a strong court presence. The other side never submit all of their discovery, in spite of several motions to compel. My x never even submitted his bank information. Ms. Tracy ended up just giving up on it. When I complained I was told by office manager to "fire them if I was that unhappy". But by then I didn't have any money left for another retainer. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place and they knew it. I ended up giving my x a lot of money simply because my options were giving it to him, or giving it to my lawyer. At least by giving it to him there is a chance the kids will benefit. I waited several years to write this, because a lawyer review is not at the top of the list when one is rebuilding their life. But, it's time to check this off the list. I do not recommend this lawyer unless your case is straightforward and you have loads and loads of cash.n

Ineffective At Best

We spent over $10,000 with Cynthia for very little results. My review is much like the one below. Her staff was not competent. I can't even remember how many errors were made from the way my case was handled and negotiated to grammar and spelling issues in legal documents that I had to point out, ult...imately costing me more money. I received multiple phone calls requesting documents and information that had been previously received. I had to call them several times to make sure I was receiving correct information, when multiple people would tell or send me different things. Time and money were spent doing things that were ineffective, while the other party continued to ignore deadlines and requests. Cynthia was not aggressive in mediation. There were times when she gave me advice to do things that not only went against my own best interest but benefited the other party. The mediator she chose, who we paid hundreds of dollars to on top of our normal legal fees, had not read over my case and didn’t bother to read the declaration we spent hours (and $1,000) on. I spoke to another lawyer today who read over the agreed temporary orders and asked why I agreed to them. I told her my attorney advised me that this would be better than the judge would be willing to give me. She was stunned. I was very disappointed in the service provided. Please don't make the same mistake.

Not worth the money

I hired Cynthia Tracy after being taken back to court by my ex for custody and I regret hiring her. First, I'd like to say she is expensive, I spent about $20,000 and we didn't even go to court. When I asked her about predicting costs, on more than one occasion, she would say that there was absolutel...y no way of knowing and just to the look at the fees she charges. When I complained about how much the bill was, she looked into it and had overcharged me by over $1000.00. She did reverse the charges. In the beginning when I was turning in the paperwork and financials, I felt like I was getting a lot of unnecessary phone calls, for which they bill. On at least three occasions I was asked for paperwork that I had already turned in. Many phone calls were to "review" what I had turned in and seemed useless, not really giving them any new information. Most importantly, I feel that she did not give me any guidance or advice when making decisions. There was no real preparation for going into mediation, except for financials. She didn't even read my response I had written for court. If you don't know what a response is, it is my story in detail about how I got there. I would talk to her about things during mediation and she didn't even know what I was talking about. She was looking things up and doing her research right there in front of me. Also during mediation, the mediator that she picked, responded to me with it wasn't her fault, your the one that had sex with that guy and had kids (paraphrasing). I feel she should have prepared me better for mediation by telling me what questions or problems to anticipate. After I told her that I couldn't afford to go to court over this, she just pushed for me to settle, not interested in any negotiating. Overall, a horrible experience.
