The Best Family Lawyer in Texas
As the title states, Mrs. Tracy is the best family lawyer in the Texas. She has represented me twice, for my divorce and again when my ex decided to bring me back to court over trivial matters. I have been incredibly happy with her and her staff. Some reviews say that she is expensive but you get what you pay for, and with Mrs. Tracy you get the best.

Where do I even began, Ms. Tracy and her Firm are THE BEST we have not just hired her ONCE but TWICE yes I said TWICE that should say something right there. Her and her office gets things done. Before hiring Ms. Tracy we previously hired 2 lawyers before her which was a waste of money and time and nothing was done. Ms. Tracy and Kristen has accomplished so much for us, we got custody of one of the boys and lifetime support was removed from the other. Ms.Tracy and her office communicates with you every step of the way so there is no surprises, she tells you her opinion as a “what can happen” since judges are unpredictable. You get what you pay for and she is worth every bit of it. If you sit back and watch her in court you will not be disappointed, I was amazed how she represented us she holds nothing back and exposes everything. She made the lawyers on the other side look like newbies fresh out of law school and that’s being nice, since I probably could have done better than them. With this being said I recommend her 110% if you’re not ready to get what you want then hire one of these OTHER lawyers and pray.

Absolutely wonderful
You can't ask for a better attorney than Cynthia and her staff. Our case was a difficult adoption case having to follow the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC). Dealing with another state AG and Amicus(AD L item) attorney, and DCS(CPS). Along with making sure that all the fine details were covered. They were forthright and strong and actually guide the them through the process. This was our second time using Cynthia and we are quite pleased with her counsel. The first time she won our case which by all accounts was unwinnable how ever she pull it off. We would definitely use her again, because their is no one better in the area period.

Details Matter
My divorce case just finalized and I am very happy with the results that Cynthia Tracy and staff helped me obtain. The entire team were professional and courteous at all times...even when I was stressed out and venting my frustration with the opposing side causing unnecessary delays. Cynthia's attention to details and thoroughness in gathering information was impressive. In the end, this attention to details is what I believe "won the day". I would readily recommend Cynthia and the Tracy Law firm to anyone who is in a difficult situation. Cynthia is knowledgeable, assertive and focused in her approach and I would ask; "Isn't that who you would want in your corner protecting your interests"? Even when I was frustrated and ready to give in just to get the matter over with, she would calmly but firmly advise me to stay the course and not give away anything I didn't have to. Hopefully I will not need her services for this same matter again, but if I do ever end up needing a strong but fair attorney I will gladly return to her firm for help.

She is the best in the area
Attorney Tracy was excellent in every area. She had demands on me that stressed me but when I provided her with the information she needed she shinned as bright as a star. In and out of the court room. She made no promises but brought every lie that could be exposed to light. I absolute adore her and her staff. They push hard for me to turn in everything that was required but she was able to far exceed anything I expected. SHe did nothing underhanded and would not allow me to even if I wanted. She kept my reasonable number one objective as her number one objective. I recommend her to anyone and everyone. They worked long hours on my case and were extremely fair in billing me. She is my number one choice and number two choice to represent me. Attorney Tracy and her staff still help me with questions and referrals for other legal services.

Exemplary Law Practice
Cynthia Tracy was the fourth family lawyer/practice that I have used since 2004. I have to say that this relationship has been extremely beneficial to my case in all court proceeding and have always led to favorable judgments and outcomes in all matters. The staff has been extremely professional and Cynthia never made excuses for anyone and dealt with matters accordingly. Her practice is based in Clear Lake and while I live in the Spring / The Woodlands area she always made it easy to hold meetings whether in person or via conference calls. The staff, including another attorney working my case was very attentive and worked to explain matters in detail. I was very satisfied and happy to have hired them. There is an old adage that you get what you pay for and when it comes to hiring the best, most qualified and well-respected practice it is money well spent. She will not sugarcoat anything to you and will give you advice and recommendations even if it’s not want you want to hear. That’s something that you can truly appreciate – someone that is frank with you. If you are ever have to go to court in from of a judge, Cynthia's interaction with the judge and opposing counsel will flat-out impress you. I have seen many and I do mean many interactions and she is defiantly the J.J. Watt of attorneys. My case is closing for now but if I have to go back for any enforcement issues you better believe I would hire her again and would recommend anyone needing her expertise.

Professional, Experienced, Disciplined
My case currently is ongoing. From the start Cynthia and her firm has been very professional concerning my case. Whenever I needed clarification on something there was never a time when I would call them that they did not answer or call back in a timely manner with an answer or solution. Cynthia maintains an unwavering focus while she is representing me. She has a keen attention to detail and recently when we appeared in court with the opposing counsel she was in control from start to finish. I am totally satisfied with her as my attorney and I highly recommend her and her firm.

Dragging Numerous Court Appearances $$$$$$
This law office drags out the whole court process using "Discovery" to rack up fees. We've paid over $10,000 for a simple child support case that should have cost no more than $3,500.

Overbills, Ineffective, Not worth the money at all!!
I hired this attorney regarding a child support issue and would not recommend because you would be wasting valuable time and money. I spent almost $20K and didnt get any results!! The firm cotinuously calls and asks for the same information over and over, which they charge each time they call and charge every time they file the same information (a way to over bill you as a client). When you sate that you already provided said requested information, the employees at the firm (mainly Mr. Tracy, family relative) stated thats you are uncooperative and they can drop you as a client if you don't want to give the information (remember, its already been given). On one occassion, They asked to take my cell phone in another room to download its contents. When I asked why they needed my cell phone and what personal information it contains and how that applies to a family child support payment matter, they said if i dont comlpy, they have the right to drop me as a client (needed personal info on my cell phone made me feel like a criminal when I was seeking help for a family matter-child support monetary issue ). The more you ask questions, the more they claim they will drop you as a client. In fact, they dropped me after taking almost $20K in total just days before my court date!!

Too expensive, no guidance
The title sums it up. It's been a few years since my divorce and I am rebuilding my life. To be fair, my case was not simple and I had the deck stacked against me before I hired this office. However they took my case and billed me over 40k total, did not give me any guidance at all, and did not return calls sometimes for over a week. Ms. Tracy was not a strong court presence. The other side never submit all of their discovery, in spite of several motions to compel. My x never even submitted his bank information. Ms. Tracy ended up just giving up on it. When I complained I was told by office manager to "fire them if I was that unhappy". But by then I didn't have any money left for another retainer. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place and they knew it. I ended up giving my x a lot of money simply because my options were giving it to him, or giving it to my lawyer. At least by giving it to him there is a chance the kids will benefit. I waited several years to write this, because a lawyer review is not at the top of the list when one is rebuilding their life. But, it's time to check this off the list. I do not recommend this lawyer unless your case is straightforward and you have loads and loads of cash.n

Ineffective At Best
We spent over $10,000 with Cynthia for very little results. My review is much like the one below. Her staff was not competent. I can't even remember how many errors were made from the way my case was handled and negotiated to grammar and spelling issues in legal documents that I had to point out, ultimately costing me more money. I received multiple phone calls requesting documents and information that had been previously received. I had to call them several times to make sure I was receiving correct information, when multiple people would tell or send me different things. Time and money were spent doing things that were ineffective, while the other party continued to ignore deadlines and requests. Cynthia was not aggressive in mediation. There were times when she gave me advice to do things that not only went against my own best interest but benefited the other party. The mediator she chose, who we paid hundreds of dollars to on top of our normal legal fees, had not read over my case and didn’t bother to read the declaration we spent hours (and $1,000) on. I spoke to another lawyer today who read over the agreed temporary orders and asked why I agreed to them. I told her my attorney advised me that this would be better than the judge would be willing to give me. She was stunned. I was very disappointed in the service provided. Please don't make the same mistake.

Not worth the money
I hired Cynthia Tracy after being taken back to court by my ex for custody and I regret hiring her. First, I'd like to say she is expensive, I spent about $20,000 and we didn't even go to court. When I asked her about predicting costs, on more than one occasion, she would say that there was absolutely no way of knowing and just to the look at the fees she charges. When I complained about how much the bill was, she looked into it and had overcharged me by over $1000.00. She did reverse the charges. In the beginning when I was turning in the paperwork and financials, I felt like I was getting a lot of unnecessary phone calls, for which they bill. On at least three occasions I was asked for paperwork that I had already turned in. Many phone calls were to "review" what I had turned in and seemed useless, not really giving them any new information. Most importantly, I feel that she did not give me any guidance or advice when making decisions. There was no real preparation for going into mediation, except for financials. She didn't even read my response I had written for court. If you don't know what a response is, it is my story in detail about how I got there. I would talk to her about things during mediation and she didn't even know what I was talking about. She was looking things up and doing her research right there in front of me. Also during mediation, the mediator that she picked, responded to me with it wasn't her fault, your the one that had sex with that guy and had kids (paraphrasing). I feel she should have prepared me better for mediation by telling me what questions or problems to anticipate. After I told her that I couldn't afford to go to court over this, she just pushed for me to settle, not interested in any negotiating. Overall, a horrible experience.

Over Bills
I would not recommend her and her family. She over bills and when I asked about the negative reviews she answered it was just an upset client. Later did I know why they were upset after hiring another attorney my case was settled quickly and much more cost effective than the thousands that her firm charged. Read all her reviews first then decide.

I do not think Ms Tracy helped me in any way with my case. I was charged for ridiculous matters and in the end felt she gave me awful advice. Her staff is quite unprofessional as well. Hiring her has been one of the biggest mistakes I made.
