Biography
Capitalizing on my 17 years of experience as a teacher and principal in the field of public education, I helped students and their parents navigate the education system and supported teachers and other school district employees in employment matters for over a decade. In 2020, I closed my private school law practice and joined Lone Star Legal Aid as a Staff Attorney.
I joined Coane and Associates as the Senior Staff Attorney in 2023, the firm's 40th anniversary year. Our legal team focuses on employment discrimination, wrongful termination, civil litigation, state and federal administrative proceedings, and immigration. I lead the firm's school law services, which are confined exclusively to the State of Texas.
