Carolyn Cook Robertson

I hired this attorney based on a recommendation just a couple of weeks before my court date. She was able to work with me in a quick time frame, no problem. Once our trial date came, Carolyn was really friendly to everyone and professional. She was not bothered by the opposing attorney’s rude behavio...r towards her. We kept moving and Carolyn fought hard to make sure the false allegations were dropped. She calmly won our case!!! I recommend this attorney, you just have to trust her.

Ms. Robertson is not only a quality attorney, she is a quality person. Our case could have given us all ulcers but for her calm confidence and constantly updating us on procedures and potential outcomes. The opposing party hired five attorneys over a two-year period and Carolyn minimized the hassle ...each time, bringing things along as efficiently as possible. She avoided redundant discovery, moved arbitration sessions along quickly, refused to be affected by nonsense, intimidation or cheap shots. I do not believe our case could have been handled more professionally or effectively by any other attorney. I have recommended Ms. Robertson to two close friends and my own son.

I was a client of this Lawyer, here is my experience. I turned in my Discover on time and Discovery was late and I was never Notified.... My phone calls are return 4-6 days later. Carolyn texts 98% of the time, her excuse is I'm having phone issues, and her assistant is the same way. They never in o...ffice, since I hired to do a job I receive 7calls, 42 text message, 60 emails. Not worth the money , DID'T CARE ABOUT MY DAUGHTERS AND I CUSTODY CASE. Never sent me a bill until she decided to withdraw of case ..... Again, these are just a few of several issues not only I had ,but others that is or has went to Avvo and other places about this Lawyer.

Horrible attorney. Had my papers for two years, didn't do ANYTHING at all. Had to call and text her weekly only to receive excuses about why she did not have my paperwork ready: "moving", "busy", "out of town", etc. Finally the attorney general himself did the job. She had all of my medical invoices...; I lost thousands of dollars because she did not do anything. I had to call her several times to get my money back. I went to her office, and she told me that my appointment wasn't that day and she did not have the check ready. After setting an appointment, I showed up and she had left the paperwork outside of her door on the FLOOR. She paid herself $800 for a job that she DID NOT DO. Worst attorney I've dealt with. Tries to appear an advocate for women but her actions demonstrate the opposite. I am going to file a grievance because of these problems with her.
