Really Quick Thinking and Professional
I hired this attorney based on a recommendation just a couple of weeks before my court date. She was able to work with me in a quick time frame, no problem. Once our trial date came, Carolyn was really friendly to everyone and professional. She was not bothered by the opposing attorney’s rude behavio...

Excellent attorney
Mrs. Robertson efficiency and extensive knowledge helped me receive custody of my little girl. In any state I imagine that it is not an easy feat for a father to win custody over a mother. Thank you Mrs. Robertson it was a tough road but you managed the impossible.

Knowledegable, fearless, compassionate
Ms. Robertson is not only a quality attorney, she is a quality person. Our case could have given us all ulcers but for her calm confidence and constantly updating us on procedures and potential outcomes. The opposing party hired five attorneys over a two-year period and Carolyn minimized the hassle ...

Terrible , Not Client friendly and Greedy for $$$$
I was a client of this Lawyer, here is my experience. I turned in my Discover on time and Discovery was late and I was never Notified.... My phone calls are return 4-6 days later. Carolyn texts 98% of the time, her excuse is I'm having phone issues, and her assistant is the same way. They never in o...
This is a man who hired me for a highly contested custody fight. During the course of the case, it came to light that he had repeatedly threatened and insulted the mother of his children with racial slurs - in writing. In the discovery responses, I attempted to do damage control on that issue, having him state that he regretted having made the statements, that he had learned that such statements were inappropriate, and that he would not repeat them. These discovery responses could not be served until he signed them under oath, which he refused to do. He accused me of lying about his having called his ex a N***** and claimed I got him in trouble for putting a reference to that in the papers where I was attempting to do damage control (which the other side never saw, since he did not sign the oath and I was unable to serve them anyway). His other discovery, which did not need to be signed by him, was properly served. This man then made threats of violence to me and my own child, along with many religiously outrageous statements in which he claimed God told him I was going to hell, etc. Given that it was impossible to work with this person, I did inform him I was withdrawing from his case. He then demanded a complete refund, despite the fact that I had more than earned the retainer her had paid and he owed several thousand more for the work I had done. I prepared his file and his final bill and told him I would mail it to him. He stated that he was going to come pick it up in person, which caused me to fear that he would actually commit violence. My paralegal nearly quit over her fears about this man coming to our office, as she had also seen his behavior.

Beware
Horrible attorney. Had my papers for two years, didn't do ANYTHING at all. Had to call and text her weekly only to receive excuses about why she did not have my paperwork ready: "moving", "busy", "out of town", etc. Finally the attorney general himself did the job. She had all of my medical invoices...
There are always two sides to every story. This person hired me, but contacted me only few days later - after I had spent nearly four hours preparing her lawsuit - to let me know that she had made arrangements (several weeks prior) for the Texas Attorney General to handle her case. When I asked her why she hired me if she wanted the AG to do her case and had already made arrangements for her to do so, she said she wanted me to monitor the case, which I did for more than a year. I ended up charging her for only two hours of my time, even though I had spent nearly four hours on the case before she ever let me know she had already signed up for AG services, and continued to have several phone calls with her to explain to her what the AG was doing on the case and why. She wanted to come by the office to pick up her refund at times I was not at the office and she did not have an appointment. She then wanted to pick up her file and her refund check during the Thanksgiving holiday week when I was not working. I went to the office during my time off and was prepared to give her her file and refund check. She did not show up timely or before I had to leave, but let me know she was on her way. I left a sealed package for her at the door of my office, knowing she would be there shortly, so that we did not have to reschedule.
