I initially hired Kalandra Wheeler in February 2020 for a case that was a known uphill battle. For 3.5 years, Kalandra went above and beyond and continued to stand up for me in a situation where I needed someone to stand up for me. I consulted Kalandra on what I thought was a wrongful employment termination, and although she agreed that the way my company went about it was unethical and perhaps poorly executed, she said due to TX employment laws, I did not have a strong case because it was not unlawful. I greatly appreciated he...r honesty and integrity. I then asked her to review the employment separation agreement sent to me. She answered all questions, explaining in detail the commitments I would be agreeing to if I signed the agreement. She also suggested adding additional terms that would serve me better and said to just ask to have them added to the agreement, rather than paying her a fee to negotiate them on my behalf. I like and respect Kalandra and above all, I trust her!
