Stephanie is hands down the best family lawyer in the Houston area. She is incredible. She is very knowledgeable, attentive to details, and an absolute incredible litigator in the courtroom. Stephanie's years of experience is highlighted in her skillful questioning on the stand and presence in ...the court. Stephanie can be hard to reach at times but was always responsive to urgent issues that needed immediate resolution. Stephanie is able to filter the urgent issues and petty/non-urgent matters. Remember, your lawyer is not your therapist. I cannot recommend Stephanie enough to anyone going through a high conflict divorce or family law issue.

I came to Stephanie after I lost an emergency hearing that should have never happened! I was in a really bad place and was hopeless! I went to a big law firm, but the attorney I had it was his first case. He fought hard for me, but he wasn't experienced enough to know how to handle someone who manipu...lates the court system or the attorney my ex hired who played dirty! After a long almost three year battle with many twists and turns and CPS involvement, Stephanie gained control over the mess I was in! Yes, the communication was not great at times, but the end result was more than I hoped for due to how scary the opposing party and his attorney were! Thank you Stephanie Proffitt and staff! My little girl said, "mommy I'm so happy!" I will use her again!

She will not properly represent you, know the facts of your case , fight for you, communicate via an...y form,remember anything you've told her, and WILL WORK WITH THE OPPOSING PARTY. She is not worth the cost, every other attorney speaks badly of her, and they are right. She will break every law of client confidentiality! HER BEAUTY MATCHES HER ATTITUDE!
