I came to Stephanie after I lost an emergency hearing that should have never happened! I was in a really bad place and was hopeless! I went to a big law firm, but the attorney I had it was his first case. After a long almost three year battle with many twists and turns and CPS involvement, Stephanie gained control over the mess I was in! Yes, the communication was not great at times, but the end result was more than I hoped for due to how scary the opposing party and his attorney were! Thank you Stephanie Proffitt and staff! I hired Ms Proffitt in the middle of this pandemic. She explained to me that the courts were operating under very different rules and timeframes, but that she would do everything in her power to help my children and me through an abusive and financially draining situation. Her and her staff were al...ways responsive. I followed their direction to send messages through their office portal (MyCase) and I never had difficulties gets answers. I have read some of the negative reviews and this was simply not my experience. Her entire staff is helpful beyond measure. Ms Proffitt has compassion for her clients. She truly loves her job. Additionally, she was very generous with her time. I know she could have charged me much more than she did. I highly recommend this attorney.

Stephanie has been assisting me for many many years. Her service to her clients is impeccable. She first assisted me when I was having baby mama drama when my daughter was 5. My baby mama would not let me interact with my daughter. Stephanie stepped in and got me my visitations. Fast forward to 2018 ...baby mama drama started happening again. This time Stephanie fought to get me exclusive rights of my daughter. Stephanie won the case for me! Now I my residence is the primary residence. Not to mention the case I had from an ex who accused me of stalking her. A protective order was filed against me. I looked at Stephanie and told her I done none of the things I was accused of. Stephanie worked to compile evidence in my behalf. A few days before I was to appear in court Stephanie sent me an email. CASE DISMISSED! Let me tell you something. I witness on a few occasions where Stephanie got stern with the DA. She is a BULLDOG in the courtroom! She don't take no mess! I have also witnessed the respect she has from the Judges and other attorney's. She has the experience and has been in these courts a very long time. I've known Stephanie professionally for years. I hired her recently to represent me in my divorce with full blown custody and complex property issues and it's as nasty and bitter as your worst nightmare can imagine - which is no surprise given that I'm a family law paralegal getting divorced from a f...amily law attorney.
