I could not have prayed for better representation! I was facing a motion to revoke my probation after working so hard for years to remain compliant. However, upon the hearing, the ...judge was hesitant to sign it and rescheduled the court date to review the details. I am now able to continue the last portion of my probation in confidence (without any amendments, extra reporting, drug tests, etc). I literally owe her everything! My case was a violent felony crime and a conviction would have drastically affected my life. I've never seen an attorney negotiate an agreement with the district attorney and then have the judge reject it. I had a previous attorney that led me down a pretty bad path as far as the decision I'd have to make on my hearing, basically requesting me to plea to a felony on something where I was never convicted and have a permanent record that would never go away (deferred adjudication). I found Penny online a...nd literally with less than 24 hours before this hearing knocked it out of the park, got me a PTI as this was my first ever charge in any jurisdiction in the United States... I have had to hire a few attorneys in my life. Penny is the best Lawyer I’ve come across. She seems to genuinely care about your situation and listens to you. My case was a bit complicated and fell into a grey area, but to simplify it, I was told by multiple other attorneys that I had consulted ...that I would not be able to get my mugshot removed from a website because that website claimed it was a “news reporting organization” and somehow posting my mugshot was protected free speech. Since being arrested, I had received an order of non-disclosure after successfully completing a deferred adjudication program. Penny expressed that she felt that what the website was doing was not right. She was able to get the mugshot removed where others had said it was not possible. Huge thanks to her and I highly recommend her to others. Hopefully I don’t need any more attorneys, but if I do I’ll ask Penny first.
