BRILLIANT

Kyle guided me through a complex legal incident I unfortunately had to endure. Despite not being my attorney for a second separate charge. He was able to get those charges dropped as part of my plea bargain for the case he represented me on. He was great at explaining the process in a way I could un...derstand, since I have virtually zero knowledge of the criminal court process. He pushed hard for my case to be completed fast and continued to help after my case was complete, despite not having any obligation to continue helping or explain additional options for me. He was instrumental in contacting my family to post my bail. I would absolutely recommend hiring him for a quick and successful outcome for your legal troubles!

Court Appointed Apathy

He represented a family member of mine and was court appointed by Harris County. I met with him and he seemed like he showed no regards to particulars in the case since this was a court appointed and kept pushing for a bad plea deal. He even told me that since he's court appointed that he didn't even... have to meet with me since I'm not his client. While that is probably true, my incarcerated family member wanted somebody outside to know the details and keep updated on case but Kyle wouldn't meet up after the first meeting. While he may be good if he's not court appointed think before hiring him. I guess money talks and Harris County doesn't pay him enough to even listen.

Recommended!

Kyle Sampson is one of the best lawyers I've hired! He is knowledgable, compassionate, professional, and friendly. Kyle went above and beyond what I expected. He always kept us 'in the loop'. He was never missed a court date, he visited my son in jail, he was always accessible by phone or in person, ...and he truly cared. One of Kyle's strengths is that he has been around for a while, which means he knows people in the law enforcement business. Not only that, but he knows who to talk to and how to talk to them: judges, bailiffs, jail personnel, other lawyers, etc. That ability goes a long way and brings comfort to a client. Need an attorney? Hire Kyle!

My Experience with Kyle

I am a 39 yr old professional who moved to Houston for good pay/work. I had no criminal history prior to 2010 when my life suddenly changed significantly - I was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault w Deadly Weapon, had a $110,000.00 bond, was facing 99 yrs in prison, had crashed both my Merc...edes', and lost my wife to an affair with a married man. All of this unfolded in 2 days. Long story short, on the criminal charges, I stood firm against the Harris County D.A. and was acquitted. Kyle did a great job, took my moms phone calls, my phone calls, met with me several times, and I knew he was on my side. I highly recommend Kyle. For those facing felony charges - as much as I try, I really can't think of any comforting words other than to tell you that the USA incarcerates a greater percentage of its population than any other country in the entire world (including Iran). Texas leads the USA in this area. You are not alone. Be careful. You are in grave danger of a downward spiral to an unpredictable bottom. Hiring Kyle is a good move, visiting a Psychiatrist is a good move, returning to Church is a good move. Believing that the D.A. or Judge has anyone's best interest in mind is a bad move.

Compassionate & Understanding

Kyle Sampson was instrumental in helping us through a very difficult time when a family member was incarcerated in Texas. We were overwhelmed about how to deal with legalities and communication from out of country. There was no way to contact or speak with our family member. We didn’t know where to ...turn or how to find out if he was safe. We experienced overwhelming emotions about the legalities and uncertainties of what lay ahead. Kyle Sampson took the case and became our saving grace. He scheduled visits with our family member and contacted us with updates as they came. On top of all this, he took time to listen and provide comfort even when the potential outcome was grim. He prepared us for the processes ahead and answered our questions no matter how trivial. In the end, the best outcome in this case became reality. I am confident it was Kyle’s knowledge and interest that made the difference in how we pulled through. Now our family is reunited and we’re very grateful for a lawyer like Kyle Sampson. Sincerely, SB
