Couldn't ask for better
Mr. Sampson was a life saver for us and provided outstanding service. He gave us consistently good, timely advice, told us what to expect all the way through the process and was very responsive. There is no doubt that if we needed an attorney again this is who we would call first. Every time. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Kyle Sampson is one of the best lawyers I've hired! He is knowledgable, compassionate, professional, and friendly. Kyle went above and beyond what I expected. He always kept us 'in the loop'. He was never missed a court date, he visited my son in jail, he was always accessible by phone or in person, and he truly cared. One of Kyle's strengths is that he has been around for a while, which means he knows people in the law enforcement business. Not only that, but he knows who to talk to and how to talk to them: judges, bailiffs, jail personnel, other lawyers, etc. That ability goes a long way and brings comfort to a client. Need an attorney? Hire Kyle!

My Experience with Kyle
I am a 39 yr old professional who moved to Houston for good pay/work. I had no criminal history prior to 2010 when my life suddenly changed significantly - I was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault w Deadly Weapon, had a $110,000.00 bond, was facing 99 yrs in prison, had crashed both my Mercedes', and lost my wife to an affair with a married man. All of this unfolded in 2 days. Long story short, on the criminal charges, I stood firm against the Harris County D.A. and was acquitted. Kyle did a great job, took my moms phone calls, my phone calls, met with me several times, and I knew he was on my side. I highly recommend Kyle. For those facing felony charges - as much as I try, I really can't think of any comforting words other than to tell you that the USA incarcerates a greater percentage of its population than any other country in the entire world (including Iran). Texas leads the USA in this area. You are not alone. Be careful. You are in grave danger of a downward spiral to an unpredictable bottom. Hiring Kyle is a good move, visiting a Psychiatrist is a good move, returning to Church is a good move. Believing that the D.A. or Judge has anyone's best interest in mind is a bad move.

Compassionate & Understanding
Kyle Sampson was instrumental in helping us through a very difficult time when a family member was incarcerated in Texas. We were overwhelmed about how to deal with legalities and communication from out of country. There was no way to contact or speak with our family member. We didn’t know where to turn or how to find out if he was safe. We experienced overwhelming emotions about the legalities and uncertainties of what lay ahead. Kyle Sampson took the case and became our saving grace. He scheduled visits with our family member and contacted us with updates as they came. On top of all this, he took time to listen and provide comfort even when the potential outcome was grim. He prepared us for the processes ahead and answered our questions no matter how trivial. In the end, the best outcome in this case became reality. I am confident it was Kyle’s knowledge and interest that made the difference in how we pulled through. Now our family is reunited and we’re very grateful for a lawyer like Kyle Sampson. Sincerely, SB

Strongly Recommend
Mr. Sampson handled my case with genuine compassion and professionalism. The outcome of my case was most favorable...even more favorable than I could have imagined.

Professional, Responsive, Organized
Kyle returned our calls within a day, often the same day. He was resourceful in dealing with the DA. He helped get out daughter out of jail, which was a horrible experience for her, and he carefully negotiated an agreement to clear her of charges. We could not be more satisfied with her representation and will gladly recommend Kyle to anyone in trouble in Texas.

Excellent outcome!
I was referred by a family member that has used Kyles services multiple times. I am extremely glad for having such a strong defense lawyer on my side. Kyle made this dreadful process smooth and tolerable. Thanks Kyle for your professionalism and knowledge.

Superb Criminal Defense Lawyer
Kyle represented my son in a criminal defense case in which he secured a pre-trial diversion; enabling my son to meet the conditions of the court and over time move on without the matter adversely impacting his record. There were two other youths involved and neither of their attorneys recommended this resolution to the court, but benefitted from Kyle's understanding of Texas Criminal Law and the Harris County Court System.

Professional and Knowledgeable
Kyle Sampson is highly respected among the prosecutor community. His knowledge, persistence, preparation, and especially his presence in the courtroom is very professional. He was a successful military JAG officer and saved my military career. Words cannot express my sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to him for getting me through the worst experience of my life. I was so uncertain about my future and embarrassed. His honesty, kindness, and professionalism was reassuring in making me feel confident about my future; during an extremely difficult time. He represented me 100% of the time and was very confident in his abilities, which resulted in bringing about a favorable outcome in my case.

Extremely well trained quality lawyer who understands what you are facing and is well prepared to handle it
Kyle Sampson is an extremely well trained lawyer capable of handling difficult cases and he proved it in my case personally. I was shocked and confused when I was arrested for a felony charge in which turned out to have several interesting twists including a chief of police who had father a son with my wife during our marriage which I discovered only after my initial arrest. Kyle was able to stay on top of things and keep me calm with his demeanor and impressive legal skills which gave me confidence has a faced my trial ultimately setting me free. I found him to be honest and ethical and he never promised me anything but that he would do a solid job. Anyone who does I can assure you isn't worth hiring because in the end the jury decides your fate. When your life depends on it hire the best you possibly can and I feel that Kyle Sampson is that lawyer.

Hiring the right lawyer!
To enter into a legal defense can be "trying" not only for the defendant, but for the family involved as well. Add to the difficulty of a Federal Defense, and being indicted for more than 107 counts , these can be overwhelming! Your choice of a lawyer could mean how the rest of your life plays out. From personal experience Kyle, took an active interest in all the aspects of my case. That accounted for an acquittal on all but two counts. My family and I appreciate his dedication and his demeanor in the courtroom. I had consulted another attorney before this lengthly trial who had advised me to plead "guilty". I am thankful I consulted Kyle and cannot over emphasize my complete confidence in his trial work. Because of his efforts I am here to write this, and not somewhere else!

Kyle Reeves Sampson
As you can tell by looking at Mr. Sampson's profile he is extremely knowledgeable and very experienced. Our involvement with him confirmed this. Even with this high level of stature he is genuinely concerned about your case, in our case even though it was a relatively small/low profile case, he made us confident we were just as important as any big case. Working with Mr. Sampson you can tell he has the highest level of integrity and professional conduct, yes he made you feel at ease when talking to him but he also laid it on the line so you knew the worrisome aspects of the case along with when worrying would do no good. What set Mr. Sampson apart is his presence in the courtroom, not only did he command respect when he walked in, but also during the process. We were genuinely proud to have him representing us. From many perspectives, from process to perception, this can be a deciding factor in most situations. The bottom line is I can look back with perfect hindsight and awareness and say there is no lawyer that I would ever recommend before Mr. Sampson, he is literally the best I have ever seen.

Court Appointed Apathy
He represented a family member of mine and was court appointed by Harris County. I met with him and he seemed like he showed no regards to particulars in the case since this was a court appointed and kept pushing for a bad plea deal. He even told me that since he's court appointed that he didn't even have to meet with me since I'm not his client. While that is probably true, my incarcerated family member wanted somebody outside to know the details and keep updated on case but Kyle wouldn't meet up after the first meeting. While he may be good if he's not court appointed think before hiring him. I guess money talks and Harris County doesn't pay him enough to even listen.
