Kent A Schaffer

Mr. Schaffer is one of the best attorneys I have ever heard of and I had the pleasure of working with him on a case that seemed hopeless for my dear son. Entering Liberty County on a poss < 1g enhanced indictment (while on bond for same offense in Garza County, TX) Mr. Schaffer, Liebermann & Sorreson (his team) negotiated a probated plea for me. The beauty of the plea was FACT, my first TDC # was 367859, second was 412479 & BOP # 16639-077. I would h...ave screamed FANTASY from the highest mountain however this firm is the REAL DEAL! No unrealistic expectations along the way either, just straight to the point facts. Great post conviction work as well, the firm handled an appeal for me up to and through the 5th circuit and I ran out of defense funds or I think & believe in the US Supreme Court the case would have been reversed. I recently was charged with a serious felony offense. I went to see Mr. Schaffer and at first I was a little put off by the price. The several other lawyers that I spoke to were much cheaper, but since my freedom was at stake I decided to spend the money. Mr. Schaffer and his team sprang into action ...and they left no stone unturned. My case went to the grand jury and Mr. Schaffer made an excellent presentation that resulted in my case being nobilled and dimissed. I don't know if another lawyer could have got the same result, but I doubt it. I have my freedom and a clean record and I am totally satisfied with the way my case was handled. I would recommend him to anyone.
