My son was facing a difficult case. He found himself in a bad situation due to bad judgment. He was facing jail time. I found Mr. Alvarado on the Internet after my search for a highly recommended attorney via his peers. I was pleasantly surprised that he answered my call immediately. I didn't have to... go through a secretary, or an answering service. He took time to discuss my son's case and offered a meeting the very next day. We met and I was not only relieved but confident that he was the right attorney for the case. He was very diligent and knowledgeable and he reviewed the case piece by piece. He was always in constant communication with us and was always honest and forthcoming with information. He spent countless hours on this case. It was long,but he fought the battle, and in the end my son's case was dismissed! I not only highly recommend Mr. Alvarado, but I consider him a family friend! He genuinely cares about his clients and his experience is Insurmountable!

I have not ever had to personally have Mr. Alvarado represent me however; he has represented several close friends of mine. Mr. Alvarado took his personal time to speak with me about a case and my personal responsibilities as victim of domestic violence. I walked out of his office with a weight lift...ed off of my shoulders, he reminded me that I truly was the victim, and not at fault and really discussed with me how to avoid being in the same situation ever again. I am proud to say I took his advice, I walked away from something and someone who was floundering. Mr. Alvarado gave me the knowledge and backbone to change my life, and my future. I can truly never express how his kindness changed who I was and who I would become. Mr. Alvarado is not only a top notch lawyer, he is a top notch individual and he truly cares about his clients and everyone involved in the cases he handles. This is truly a rarity in the law field. I'm proud that if I was ever in need of his services (hopefully I never do) I could not only call him my attorney, but my friend.

I picked Mr. Alvarado's firm out of the Yellow Pages approximately 10 years ago. He has handled several cases for me involving my children and grandchildren that included speeding tickets and DWI's and domestic abuse. All outcomes were at or above my expectations. He has proven to be a "go-to" so...urce when I have questions and always returns my calls. I consider him to be a reputable attorney and loyal friend.

Mr. Alvarado was the the utmost professional lawyer I have ever came across. I was arrested with a DWI last fall (2011). Without much detail i already knew it was going to be a tough case, with it's circumstance. As I was sitting in jail, I already knew who I was going to call because I have heard ...nothing but amazing things with Mr. Alvarado and his extensive experience with defense law. Furthermore, I called and set up a meeting. Even with how busy he is, he still makes time and looked at every little detail to your case. Mr. Alvarado didn't "sugar-coat" anything, simply and politely telling me that it was going to be a busy,long, rough and tough case and how every detail would make a difference. Then, we set up a payment plan (him being so understanding of my income) it couldn't have gone any better. I, of course, leaving the office was stressed but then I knew I put my case in very good hands. He had sent me home with "homework". EX: writing a short story of my goals, things I have accomplished, extra curricular activities, community service and so on. For instance, writing out my resume. He tackled this case in every which way, him knowing what they look at and what they look for. Mr. Alvarado was always staying in touch, also having a meeting at the scene so he could see not just what I went through but also the act of the police officers. Every time we were in court he was on time, and so professional, always letting me know everything that was going on in such a secretive way. People don't need to know why you are there and that was the last thing I wanted. Mr. Alvarado was so precise with everything that was built into my case. I, yes, do have an extensive background and I knew that was definitely going to be a burden. However, that did not stop Gilbert from fulfilling his duties, he would never give up. I know he worked so hard with what he had to fight for, for me. Long office hours and extensive research but he did it! He got my case dismissed, of course after plenty number of times in court. (in less than 6 months) It fell through and go got across to them that they couldn't prove that I was driving, also found all kinds of mistake the police officer had made, research every bit about all the situations.(I was asleep on my car while it was still running) Furthermore, it he made me always feel at ease and that everything was going to be okay. I trusted him and put all of my faith in him and he never let me down, not once. Mr. Alvarado is a true blessing for people that need that fighting chance, and everyone does. I will always recommend him and will never use anyone else. Definitely more than 5 stars in all categories.
