Daniel Horowitz received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas School of Law. While at the University of Texas, Daniel served as the Treasurer of the Silver Spurs, an organization he continues to support as a member of the Board of Directors.
Daniel began his legal career as a law clerk at Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto, and Friend joining the firm as an associate in 2005 and became a partner in 2011 devoting one hundred percent of his practice to personal injury. He handles a variety of lawsuits including catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, explosions, petrochemical accidents, pharmaceutical litigation, and vehicular accidents. In 2008, Daniel became Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
He has consistently been recognized as a Texas Rising Star in Texas Monthly and a Top Lawyer for the People in H Magazine. Daniel has both published articles and taught numerous classes and seminars throughout the country.
Daniel is a member of numerous professional associations and dedicated to those organizations. He is currently a director of the State Bar of Texas. He is devoted to the Texas Trial Lawyers Association spending countless hours defending and protecting the rights of Texans who might otherwise be denied justice. He serves on the Texas Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors and is a past chair of the Advocates Board. Each legislative session Daniel donates his personal time and funds advocating for the rights of injured Texans.
While at Abraham Watkins, Daniel has achieved incredible success and settlements for his clients. He is aggressive, tenacious, and passionate about protecting clients. Daniel passionately represents families who have been adversely affected by an injury to a loved one winning numerous jury verdicts and settlements. In recent years he has personally recovered in excess of $30,000,000 for his clients.
He is also a devoted husband to his wife Kimberly who practices family law in Harris County, Texas. In his spare time he enjoys Texas football and spending time with his family and friends.
