I Thought I Was Hiring a Fighter for Justice — I Was Wrong

I paid $6,500 upfront, and later gave them another $2,500 under pressure — over $9,000 in total. From day one, I told the attorney and his staff that another man was on my son’s birth certificate and that a legal Acknowledgment of Paternity was already on file. Despite that, the man was never served ...in time. The first hearing was postponed mid-hearing because of this mistake. Even then, I didn’t give up. I personally located the man, paid for the notary, got the affidavit signed, and submitted it to the firm. But before the next hearing, my petition was amended behind my back, causing another delay. I was never consulted — just notified after it happened. At that point, I was devastated, confused, and still being billed. I kept seeing vague entries like “Review File” or “Respond to Message,” with no real movement in my case. No court orders. No name change. No representation in a full hearing. And when I raised concerns, I received a letter with these exact words from Mr. Pritchard: “When I agreed to take your case, it became MY case… Your opinions on legal matters are of little significance to me… I will not allow a civilian observer to make demands… nor will I heed to recommendations given to you by ChatGPT or any other AI program.” That’s what I got after $9,000 — a letter saying my opinion didn’t matter. To make it worse, I recently discovered that my contract was never even signed by an attorney. They took my money, but never fully executed the agreement. That speaks volumes about how my case was handled. I hired this firm because I believed in the same values I thought they stood for. I thought I was choosing someone who would fight for what’s right. But instead, I was left to fight alone. If you’re a parent fighting to be in your child’s life, please think twice. Ask the questions I didn’t know to ask. Don’t mistake a public image for personal dedication. This was my experience. And it hurt more than just my wallet — it hurt my hope.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

This guys firm in Killeen sucks, everything everyone says is true. You come in and speak with a Lawyer and they quote you for the case but what they don’t explain is that that money is a “retainer fee”, which is basically money you put in that covers the case…. Until it doesn’t, and they won’t tell y...ou when it doesn’t they’ll just keep sending you invoices. They spend that money ASAP, that way you’ve gone over the retainer and they can keep sending invoices and making you rack up debt with the firm, and the things the invoice you is so insane, they charge $50 just to speak to your lawyer out of appointment, they’ll pick the phone up but he’ll also send an invoice for an insane amount of money for doing the bare minimum. Honestly the BAR should investigate this guy, the stuff this guy does is so shady and then using the law to sue people when we can’t pay back his scam, this guy is the devil

Beware!

Terrible professionalism. I hired this firm based on the overall rating given on google. I wish I would have went through each individual review! You will literally wait weeks for an update on your case. The first time speaking to my lawyer she knew nothing about the case, the conversation was liter...ally spent with her asking me questions about details she should have already been privy to before calling me. The conversation was not productive I was not able to ask or receive answers to my questions due to the lack of information she had. Secondly, after reaching out to them about an appointment and getting no response, I reached out a second time and finally got a date to speak with my attorney. On the day I was supposed to speak to my attorney the firm informed me same day that I will not be receiving a call from her and rescheduled me to the following week with a new attorney. A simple custody revision has turned into a complete drawn out process due to the lack of enthusiasm and professionalism from the firm. All the while I am still getting charged with little to no communication. Honestly, weight your options before choosing this firm.

Scam! Let’s work together on my legal malpractice suite!

Scam scam scam! Do not use them took 3500 without doing anything. Lots of empty promises from Tim Daniels and NJ Gaunt. Tim even told me I had money left from what I paid and is now saying they can’t confirm that on the same call lol. They are a total joke!!! Good thing I kept detailed documentation ...and recorded all my conversations with them. Already working with a legal malpractice lawyer who said I have a really great case, my last call with Tim was icing on the cake. Tried to scam me out of more money even though they haven’t done anything for the first 3500, but a transfer that was unnecessary according to NJ Gaunt and my last recorded call. Currently looking for other people to come forward. Please reach out if you have been wronged by this firm! [email protected]

Grand Parents Rights

My daughter passed away with COVID, I hired this firm because they said I had a case! I already filed all the documents with McLennan County and needed them to represent me at the final hearing and they charged me 6500 to put their name on my documents and use my evidence and used all the money to ch...ange my final hearing to a temporary hearing and never filed the paperwork! When they asked for an additional 4200 dollars to prepare my final hearing I fired them! I had set a final hearing date on December 15th 2023, thinking that I was finally going to get this resolved and that’s when the Judge explained to me Attorney Sykora never filed the temporary orders! So they took my money screwed up my chances on getting my granddaughter. I explained my family situation and they don’t care about family all they care about is money! Now the dad which abandoned her when she was a year old is trying to get her. This is why! I hired Pritchard law firm! When they quoted me the 6500 and pay 4000 down and the rest in payments! This is the agreement that attorney Limick, me and my husband agreed to! I want my money back because I feel the firm did not do anything!

"Simply put, if CPS is coming down the block, call Brett. He is an absolute master of the CPS courtroom. I have sent him clients on many occasions because I know Brett will fight like hell for them. Many times I have watched him make a complete fool out of CPS workers who don't know their own SOP manual, let alone follow it. Strongly recommended."
