Excellent, Diligent and Professional

We retained the services of Mr Jordan when my son was wrongfully accused of rape / sexual assult. The prosection team was dead set on requesting a 20 year prison sentence. My son was in confinement for a total of 11 months awaiting trial. The original trial date had to be postponed 2 days prior to th...e start due to a Hurricane. Very disappointing news, but Mr Jordan made us feel comfortable and relaxed with the confidence he had in the team he assembled for the trial and he used the extra 3 months for more planning and strategizing. He was in regular contact with myself and my son throughtout the process. Always personally returning calls and emails. My sons case ended with time served and no additional time added as the prosecution was asking for a 20 yr sentence. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Jordan without hesitation. The absolute best there is. If you're looking for an aggressive, experienced, straight forward attorney to get the job done then Joseph Jordan is your man!!!

Don't waste your time or money!

I hired Joseph Jordan to defend me against 17 charges of sexual assault and domestic violence. At first he seemed interested and helpful, until he got a hold of my money. That's when things changed drastically. He charged me $21000 to defend my case of which he took $14000 of it. He advised me to wai...ve my article 32 hearing which I did. I spoke with him 4 times on the phone. He was rude and unprofessional and he complained about his own family problems more than listen to what I was saying. He finally told me that I must plead guilty to all charges because the evidence was stacked against me. I fired Mr Jordan and hired another attorney who did get me off all charges. Mr Jordan does not care about you, he only wants your money! If you want a Trial lawyer then this guy is not for you. He will take your money and try and plead out with the prosecution as quickly as possible. Save yourself and find a real Trial lawyer!

This client was in pre-trial confinement during the whole time I represented him. I was the second attorney he hired. It was difficult to get in touch with him and his Coast Guard Defense Counsel routed most of my communications to him. At my direction we secured a navy investigator to actively hunt down leads I identified in this case. I spent over 74 hours analyzing, reading, viewing and listening to material and evidence regarding this case. My staff spent another 24 hours on this case working and analyzing materials. At his request, an itemized invoice of work completed was provided to the client. I do not apologize for the fees incurred because they were earned. The case had not been referred to trial yet. However, I had already prepared and drafted a motion to be filed for his release from confinement the day the case was released from trial. I was let go before that could occur. When the evidence appears overwhelming, I advised this client that a plea is always on the table and that he should consider it. I also said that we were actively tracking down leads and interviewing witnesses. We continued to pursue leads up until the time I was let go. I also advised that even if a plea was offered we can withdraw at any point. When a client tells me know "I want to fight" than that is what I do and that is what I did in his case. Sometimes hard discussions have to occur with clients. They don't want to hear the worst case scenario. I am the type of attorney that does not beat around the bush. I tell you like it is. I tell you how the evidence will be presented to the jury and what the problems are with it. Any of my clients, past or present will tell you that. I will not betray the confidence or the evidence in this case. I am glad he received his desired result. I wish him well in his Coast Guard Career.
