Great Guy - Greater Service
Bill and his team are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. As a veteran himself, Bill knows a massive amount about the military, including the quirks unique to each branch. They helped me understand my options in a difficult scenario, and now I can move forward with a plan instead of going at it on my own. Thanks a ton Bill!

In two weeks got more done than I could in nearly 2 years.
Doc who came out of IRR to try out drilling with a unit. Was told by the recruiter, I could try drilling for a few months and then go back to IRR or discharge if I wanted. Took no incentives and incurred no MSO. Needed to focus on life outside of the military and thought getting out would be 2-3 months. Initiated packet and after nearly 2 years of it not being completed and still drilling decided to call Bill. Two weeks later I had a discharge date. Amazing results and super pleasant.

Amazing asset going through UQR
Bill is your friendly go to lawyer for any matters related to military administrative process. I went through UQR due to covid vaccine refusal and he had the knowledge of inner workings within HRC and pentagon to be able to bring visibility to the process and even gently nudge and bring to attention of those who are in charge of the process. He is a charasmatic advocate that will help you navigate the bureaucratic and convoluted military separation process. Thanks Bill.

Amazing follow up from start to finish
My case was a scary process and Mr. Meili walked me through each step with great detail. All of my questions were answered, phone calls and emails were responded to promptly and all options were explained. I would highly recommend Mr. Meili. His guidance made me feel at ease having him as my lawyer for my case.

Very good experience
I reached out to mr. Meili about helping me with matters relating to my military obligations and I was not disappointed with his work. Within a few hours of his service he effectively built a network of people around me to support my case. He always maintained good and clear communication between him and myself I could usually expect an email summarizing his work at least once a day.

Disability Evaluation System (DES) Representation
Hiring Mr. Meili has proved to be one of the most important and worthwhile decisions I have ever made. Not long ago, I began what I hoped would be a career in the military, but as I dove in headfirst and began life on an active duty Army installation the reality of my experiences took a hard left. Before long, I felt extremely trapped in a negative environment. I was isolated from any friends and felt targeted by toxic leadership. I began to lose hope, and felt like I was simply a tiny cog in the massive machine of the military. And so I desperately began to seek some sort of help or assistance in how to salvage my future. At first I sought escape through unhealthy and potentially dangerous means. I truly was at a dark place in my life; one I had never been to before and felt I had no way out. Unfortunately, I think these feelings are all too common in the military, especially among young service members like myself. The greatest turn of events came about when I gave Mr. Meili a call, as I finally searched for help the proper way. He represented a glimmer of hope as I had previously been consumed with desperation. Mr. Meili instantly provided hope and reassurance thanks to his vast knowledge and experience with the legal proceedings of the military. I no longer felt like merely a number and my hope for the future was reestablished thanks to Mr. Meili’s professionalism and expertise in navigating military law. Mr. Meili advocated for me when I was misled by a military behavioral health officer. He reassured me of my rights and what I am entitled to as a member of the military. Mr. Meili even contacted officers directly in my brigade on my behalf, ensuring I receive the proper care. Having Mr. Meili on board not only assured me that no high ranking officer would pull the wool over my eyes, but it was a reassurance that my best interests would always be taken care of. I went from being entirely alone to finally having a team being assembled around me, all thanks to Mr. Meili. I now am receiving the proper care and treatment given my behavioral health situation, and if I had not hired Mr. Meili I believe I may have fallen through the cracks of the Army. I was truly desperate and in one of the worst positions of my life before reaching out to Mr. Meili. Throughout the process, he constantly communicated with me and updated me on my case. He has truly cared about my well-being as a human, not just a uniformed member of the military. If you find yourself truly trapped and with nowhere to go the same way I did, you ought to give Mr. Bill Meili a call. His legal counsel, professionalism and confidence, and overall life wisdom will make a whole world of difference. It most certainly has in my case.

IRR Transfer
To date, Mr. Meili has done an amazing job with my IRR Transfer Request case! Our work together began shortly after I left a pretty detailed email in regards to my situation where there was joint confusion on some of my service obligations within my ROTC scholarship contract and rapport within my previous leadership and how those were potentially negatively affecting my requests to be transferred into the IRR as I was previously denied. Mr. Meili responded back to my situation and inquiry very rapidly, I believe within the first hour of when I sent the email. From then, we immediately began talking over the phone and identifying how he could potentially help me in my request to get approved for a transfer into the IRR. Mr. Meili's network, and span of communication amongst high level leadership still within the military helped out tremendously. Mr. Meili was very patient, yet diligent, and relentless in pursuing the best avenues of approach and plans of attack in hopes for a favorable outcome in my request. He went as far back as reaching out to and communicating with my commissioning source and personnel from my ROTC program in college dating back to 2014 to help clear up any confusion and get everybody on board, including myself with what was actually expected of me and how the requirements and obligations could still be met, all while identifying how the Army, my unit, and my request could be favorable for all parties involved. Throughout this process, Mr. Meili has also restored good and positive rapport between my unit and I. He is a wealth of knowledge and knows the system, regulations, stipulations, and law to the letter. Mr. Meili is also very good on keeping his clients updated on the work and progress of the case as he touches base and even sends a sit-rep (situation report) just about every day so that one is always in the know. I do not believe that more than two days have gone by since when we have started that he has not touched base with me and kept me posted on progress and sharing visibility on what he is working on in regards to my case, behind the scenes. I have no complaints about whatsoever when it comes to Mr. Meili and how he has helped me in my case. Mr. Meili has already built great rapport with my unit and has already received verbal confirmation that my IRR transfer request will be approved and processed. Once the ink dries on the paperwork, it will be a mission success! Working with Mr. Meili has been a smooth process and I am so happy that I hired him.

Army UQR Assistance
I hired Bill Meili to help me maneuver through the Army bureaucracy for a timely resignation (UQR). He took the time to really understand my situation, my needs, and my priorities. He was professional and used his expertise, and wide network, to get the job done in a timely fashion. He is an excellent communicator. He gave me continuous updates and recommendations. I could not have asked for better service. I was overwhelmed at work, so it was great that I had him to take care of this for me. I am happy to say that I will be moving in with my wife this year thanks to his help.

Army Officer Resignation and UQR Process
Mr. Meili replied to my initial inquiry promptly while showing a vast knowledge of not only UQRs, but also the Army system as a whole. While many attorneys may come off as smug and pretentious, Mr. Meili was seemingly down to Earth and enjoyable to converse with. Although I had a plethora of questions, some perhaps even obvious, Mr. Meili took the time to answer them all in suitable detail. The Army does not provide a suitable option for ones own legal needs, and in my case refused to give me any sort of advice, answers, or representation. However, that was a blessing because it forced me to look elsewhere. Give him a call and judge for yourself.

Strong Ally
Bill was great to work with. He carefully listened to my problem with the Navy and helped create an action plan to navigate my legal troubles. He was very accessible and explained possible scenario outcomes. In the end, I got the resolution I wanted and I'm thankful that Bill was with me along the way to shine the light in the darkness.

Captain
Attorney William C. Meili is a retired Judge Advocate General Colonel. He knows very well the workings of military law and its cumbersome bureaucracy. I came to Attorney Meili with a request for his assistance in getting my Unqualified Resignation (UQR) packet moved up the usual bureaucratic chain. Until then the packet had stalled and was sitting at the Human Resources Command. Prior to working with Attorney Meili I attempted to contact HRC for multiple weeks seeking a status on my UQR. When I finally received a response, HRC's answer was not encouraging. I feared that my UQR would not get approved in time and worse, that it could even get rejected. As soon as I spoke to Attorney Meili he began working to assist me. From that moment, it had been a few hours before Mr. Meili had an accurate picture of who had my packet and what was needed to get it up the bureaucratic chain. After speaking to Mr. Meili for the second time, I hired him to assist me in getting my UQR approved prior to my school start date. To attend medical school I needed my packet to get approved, at the latest, by August 2021. It was already late June when I contacted Mr. Meili and time was of the essence because HRC had informed me that, unless there was a change, approval was not expected until November- December. Mr. Meili started working hard on my case, giving me daily updates of the status of my packet. By the first week of August he succeeded in getting me discharge orders. HRC remarked that my packet was one of the fastest UQR packets to go through HRC, G1 and the Assistant Secretary of the Army’ procedure. Mr. Meili knows very well what is required to get through the Army’s bureaucratic process and his legal understanding is admirable. I owe huge thanks to Mr. Meili and his help. In large part because of his help, I can now attend medical school to pursue my dream. I give a 10/10 score to Attorney William C. Meili and his office for his efficiency, honesty and diligence in getting the work done.

UQR case resolved
I hired Mr. Meili to help me with a case of unqualified resignation from the Army National Guard. I had been trying to get discharge orders for 1.5 years by the time I contact Mr. Meili. After he came on the case, I had discharge orders in about 2 months. He was incredibly knowledgeable about UQR situations and an excellent communicator. Mr. Meili went above and beyond our contract to help and support me. I am very grateful for all the time and effort he put in to my case.

You’re in great hands with Bill Meili
I have known Bill over 20 years in a business relationship. When I needed an attorney for a DWI he was the first person I wanted to talk to. From the moment we spoke I knew he would take extraordinary care of me and he did. His knowledge, respect from Prosecutors, Judges and others in the Judicial system was evident and worked in my favor. Because of his knowledge and contacts he was able to get my charge reduced from a DWI to a class B DUI. I will recommend him to my family, friends and colleagues for any type of legal issue they may have and know that they will be handled with respect and care by a fabulous attorney who knows how to get the best results for his clients.

Retained by Board of Inquiry (BOI)
I am very grateful to Mr. Meili in coaching me on proving my continued value to the Army. The government was set to separate me through a Board of Inquiry (BOI)/ Show Cause despite my long career of contributions. Mr. Meili’s communication was direct and up front. He told me that I had a 50/50 chance to be eliminated and not retained. Nevertheless, Mr. Meili firmly believed in me throughout the process, and reminded me to be myself which positively impacted my confidence. Mr. Meili was correct, and when the time came for me to stand up in front of the board members, I was fired up to convince them that I could continue to be a great asset to the Army. Mr. Meili was calm and convincing to the point that he had the board members’ full attention and nodding their heads in agreement while he was speaking. As a result the board members were tolerant of my mistakes and decided to retain me. Thank you so much Mr. Meili; you will forever have my recognition and respect. Client wishes to remain anonymous

Generous Initial Consultation
Bill offered me an extremely generous (and free!) initial consultation on a military/administrative law question. He called directly less than an hour after I initially emailed him with my question. We spoke for an hour and he did not hold back in offering his considered professional insights and recommendations. He was thoughtful, listened to my concerns, and offered his unvarnished opinions in a straightforward and professional manner. I really appreciated his approach - and we even had a few laughs about shared experiences! He was also up front about his fee arrangements, but did not pressure me to "sign up." I may or may not ultimately need to retain Bill for his legal services, but I feel strongly based on our initial consultation that I could so without hesitation and with confidence in him working on my behalf. Thank you, Bill!

Competent, Compassionate, and Confident Representation
No price tag can match the value of knowing you have the best representation available. By having Mr. Meili accept my case he replaced a heavy burden of potentially serious consequences with a peace and confidence knowing I would get the best possible outcome. My case was dismissed from the court thanks to this competent and professional gentleman. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to my case.
