The law firm you need to hire with no question. They take you in from the start and fight till the end. Eaves law firm came highly recommended back in 2018 but I didn’t listen I hired another lawyer which turned out to be a terrible decision. In 2022 I had a motion to revoke my felony probation and ...once again my Houston lawyer said get the Eaves law firm on hire so I did. I was nervous for a number of reasons. I hired Jeff at the lowest part of my life. I was wrongfully accused of third degree felony injury to a child by my husband’s ex wife who was attempting to gain leverage in a custody battle. I had, to this point, never had any run ins with law enforcement and was always a respectful, productive membe...r of the Wichita Falls community. After review of evidence, Jeff told me he knew I was innocent. There was no evidence. He fought for me harder than I ever expected. Jeff and Oscar were always a calming presence in an extremely stressful situation and, for that, I will forever be grateful. Ultimately, the battle went on for nearly five years; February of 2017 until December of 2022. After roughly 12 pre-trial hearings (some extremely last minute with notifications being sent over holiday weekends) and being jerked around by the district attorneys office, being arrested (Jeff also acted as my bondsman which gave me even greater peace of mind) after arranging a book in/book out with the police department, and very obvious interference being ignored - it’s over. The result wasn’t the best case scenario with the charges being dropped entirely, yet Jeff secured my freedom with no jail time other than the two days I served 5 years ago, no fines, and ultimately we settled at a class A misdemeanor (extenuating circumstances made fighting the charges altogether in trial extremely risky) that likely won’t have much impact on my life as a whole going forward. The final hearing was also completed over zoom being I no longer live in the state of Texas and I was financially unable to get there. If you ever find your self in need of a criminal attorney in Wichita Falls, Jeff is the way to go. I would hire him a million times over. He’s worth every penny. I owe him my freedom and I’ll never be able to repay Jeff’s team for what they did for me!

Due to Covid and the court system shutting down, I thought my case would never come to an end.
