Would give 0 stars if I could. See email I sent to the law office below. I contacted the court to determine if a warrant was being issued for my arrest since the Jeff Eaves Law had done nothing on my case. This was for a simple speeding ticket, but Oscar Taylor @ Jeff Eaves, was telling me that they ...were dealing with a murder case in Wichita Falls, and taking care of a simple speeding ticket wasn’t on their priority list. It is a “courtesy to the community”, and since I wasn’t part of the “community” (from TX, but I received ticket as I was traveling through), and he seemed angry that I contacted the court to see if I had a warrant after not getting a response from Jeff Eaves Law on the status of my case, he then told me he’d give me a refund. I told them I’d still like to be represented, and I wouldn’t contact them again until I was coming back to the state. NO REFUND/NOTHING DONE ON MY CASE/RECEIVED LETTER FROM COURT STATING PAY MY SPEEDING FINE OR WARRANT BEING ISSUED IN 10 days. I reached out to the law office via email, and asked not to correspond with Oscar anymore because of how he’s handled my case thus far. Oscar emailed me in response, said he’s sending a refund, and left me to handle my case. The letter he wrote this time was in a nice tone. I have 2 days now to work with the court to “fix” my case so that I don’t receive a warrant. The $300 I paid has yet to be deposited in my account, but Oscar did send a “receipt of refund”. This could be because of bank processing times, but regardless, I could have used this to pay my ticket if it were in my account. PAID & HIRED on July 1. I sent the following email on SEP 5! I will be forwarding email correspondence I’ve had with Oscar. I called your office to follow up on July 15th for the speeding ticket I received on June 29th because I was afraid of a warrant being issued for my arrest for not responding in time. Your office was paid on July 1st to handle my speeding ticket, which is the same day that I initially corresponded with Oscar. On July 15th, Oscar informed me that he was in the middle of a murder trial, and a case like mine, to put in simple terms, isn’t important & since he’s an attorney, and the court “deadlines” are not important once an attorney is hired, and I shouldn’t have been concerned about a warrant. I told Oscar I would give him space/time to work on the murder trial, and I would follow up with him again in several weeks if I had not heard from him. I called again on Tuesday, September 2nd after he did not respond to my email from the previous week, because I haven’t received an update and am concerned about a warrant, and the receptionist took a message and said she’d give it to Oscar once he was out of his meeting. I have not received a call back from your office. Today, I received the attached letter from Archer County stating that if I do not pay my fine by September 12th, then a warrant would be issued for my arrest, and the State may impose additional fees and not allow me to renew my driver’s license. Please let me know what steps have been taken to resolve my case. I’ve also attached verification of payment and a record of call logs to your office. As previously stated, I will be forwarding all email correspondence and hope to receive a reply by someone other than Oscar since I have not had the best experience with him.

I had a custody TRO in WF while living out of state. I met Jeff the day before. My ex wanted to settle and there was no discussion on what our argument would be in court or why I shouldn't settle. I was just told I talk too much. He then got into a verbal altercation with the other party. I settled ...the issue the next day and Jeff billed me $12,000. All he cared about was winning and we didn't win since I settled. The fees were ridiculous.

I am currently on a 3 year probation for a drug related 1st offense felony charge. I was recently arrested for a probation violation due to several dirty UA's over the course of two years. 1 for alcohol and 3 for benzos, which I now have a prescription for. A year prior to this violation I was mandat...ed to see a Helen Farabee doctor by my probation officer to sort out my insomnia and anxiety. After trying 6 to 7 different medications throughout the past year nothing was working. I was being completely upfront and honest with my PO each and every visit about the Helen Farabee medication not working and, if my mother had given me one of her Xanax that particular month. After a year of trying it their way, I finally made an appointment with a doctor unaffiliated with Helen Farabee and explained everything to him about all the different meds I've tried and my current legal situation. That day he prescribed me Klonopin and Prozac. I immediately emailed my PO a copy of each prescription and told her I feel confident I'm finally on the right set of medication. But low and behold, my PO called me upon receiving my email and told me she had wished I would have been 2 days quicker because she had violated my probation and that I should expect a warrant to be issued for my arrest and that they're recommending I be sent to a 9 month rehab boot camp type facility. Completely freaked out and overwhelmed I did some research online and came across several attorney's I was going to call and get a feel for. The minute I called Jeff's office and talked to Oscar, from that point on I realized they were who I was going to put my money on and that was the best money I've ever spent! They were concise and clear. Responsive if I had a question. Called several days before to remind me/explain upcoming court proceedings. 3 days before my official day in court I received a call from Jeff. My heart pounding and guts twisting I answer the phone and Jeff gives me the news that he got the DA to completely DISMISS the probation violation! I was gratefully shocked! Finally all the tension and weight on my shoulders just disappeared. I have never felt this at ease. I sincerely hope this will be the last time I will ever need a lawyer but if I do, Jeff and Oscar will be the team I want on my side. Highly F-bomb recommended! Thanks again guys for restoring my peace of mind.

My husband and I retained Jeff for a BWI case. We consulted several attorneys via office and phone consultations. Jeff was our decision for representation. We had a CDL driver's license to protect so this case was more delicate than your average DWI case. The case did take come time to resolve but it... was so worth the end result. Jeff secured us a deal in which we would be able to quickly move on from the charge and return to normal life without a ding on his criminal record. Jeff did everything we hired him to do and more! I would highly recommend him. His rates were more than reasonable compared to other attorney's and I doubt our end result would have worked out as favorable as what Jeff secured for us. I was investigated for felony fraud in July of 2017 and was told by the investigator that, if convicted, I could face up to 20 years in prison (they always try to scare you). After being questioned I started researching lawyers and chose Jeff because his site bore the words "I fight for dismissals."... Well, Jeff came through! I was arrested for the fraud charges in April 2019. Jeff offers bail bond services free of charge, which makes things easier. I had 3 pretrial hearings before getting my name on the jury docket (this is where the ish gets real). The closer my name got to the top of the list, the more the DA's office realized they dont have much of a case. I was offered 10 years probation and 31K restitution, turned that down. 10 years probation and 23k restitution, turned that down. Then, I was offered a choice between 10 years probation and 10K restitution OR 12K for a DISMISSAL! I took Jeff a cashier's check made out to the Wichita County District Attorney for $12,000, signed some forms, and am now joyfully moving on with my life. I know it was a lot of money, but you gotta know when to hold em, and know when to fold em, and always keep in mind that peace of mind is priceless, which was exactly what I got. I will forever be grateful for the excellent representation and would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much Jeff!
