Marci and Stephanie have been so good to me. I have had many bad experiences with lawyers. We had an atypical stepchild adoption. The complications were that she was from a foreign country, plus her natural father wanted nothing to do with her and was himself difficult to locate. The international characteristic of this, even though it was a domestic adoption, got us a lot of passes from s...ome of the larger and more advertised family law firms. Frustrated, I sent out a blanket email to all family law attorneys in my area that I could find. Ms. Martinez responded and was willing to make this happen for us. She pressed this through and gave me ample notice of what I needed to have done before it was required. If I had another stepchild to adopt, I would certainly engage her for a repeat performance!
