We hired Sara to help my wife regain custody of her child, which took about a year to accomplish. If you're interested in just the results: We not only won, we won more than we'd hoped for, and for a reasonable cost. Now I'll provide some details:
When we first met Sara she had a calm, pleasant demeanor, as opposed to some of the aggressive, boisterous attorneys out there. She listened to our position, kept an open mind, and struck a perfect balance between trying to fulfill our goals, and being assertive when it came to her professional opinion. Basically, we felt like we had an expert in our corner from day one.
Our case was not cut and dry. In fact, every lawyer, school teacher, therapist, and doctor that got to know the case would eventually say that they'd never seen or heard anything quite like it during their professional career. To put it mildly, the case was ugly, but that didn't deter Sara at all.
So what happened over the year we employed Sara? First, she's responsive. She's not part of a huge firm that's juggling too many cases. She felt like "our" lawyer the whole time. She picks up her phone, she responds to emails, and she communicates very well. That kept is a strong position strategically between court visits.
I don't know if our opposition hired incompetent attorneys, but they seemed like amateurs in the courtroom compared to Sara. She was always so well informed, and had an almost supernatural ability to retain information relevant to our case. She seemed to sense the judge's opinion of the situation, and that allowed her to time being aggressive or passive very effectively.
Fortunately for us, the opposing council allowed our opponent to make a number of poor choices, including gratuitous and costly court appearances. Pro tip folks: judges do not like having their time wasted. By contrast, each of Sara's decisions on the appopriate action to take (emails, letters, court appearances) was the right one to better our position.
Combine a pleasant demeanor, being a consummate professional, proven results, and a reasonable cost, and you've pretty much got your ideal attorney. Highly recommended.

I hired Sara to handle a not so amicable divorce. From the beginning, she was very responsive to all inquiries I made and didn't seem to try to "milk" me (the client) for every penny possible. In fact, at Sara's suggestion, we were able to utilize a 1/2 day mediator in order to finalize the divorce as quickly and inexpensively as possible. Sara appeared caring, fair and a consummate professional in all court proceedings.
