I had a dwi. I moved out of state before my case went to court when I finally did get notice of a hearing, I went alone then I hire this law firm. Because I now live out of state I didn’t want to be driving 1000 miles to many hearing dates, they took care of me, really! When it was time for my final... appearance I went spoke to my attorney Hailey and immediately fell in love with her personality. She gave me worst case and best case scenarios and believe it or not.... I got so much better than she even anticipated. Why? She is awesome. The judge even said to me that I had one “hell of an attorney cause, you got the best deal I’ve ever seen young lady”. This group of attorneys will WORK FOR YOU no doubt about it.

I was accused falsely of a sex offense and was truly devastated. The police called me in and assumed I was guilty within 30 seconds based on total lies and no evidence. After one call to Tim Powers I felt at ease and he took a great deal of time to explain the process to me, what I might expect and... was very sensitive to the emotional highs and lows I went through for over a year. It seemed as it took forever to reach a result but I was given regular updates and the entire office put together a plan to get the case resolved. Despite the fact that the system seems stacked against everyone accused of a crime– innocent or not -- after 14 months I learned today my case had been dismissed by the grand jury in Denton County and I finally have my life back. I am so indebted to the Law Offices of Tim Powers. When even some of my friends and family members lost faith in me, they never did. The team effort they use in the office certainly got me the best result possible and reinforced that I made the right selection of a law firm. Thank you Law Office of Tim Powers. I'm sorry, I don't like doing things like this and hardly ever leave reviews but I think it is best that if you need a lawyer, and are going to spend a LOT of money, do some research and really check out the comments. Tim is basically a really nice guy, yet I have no idea how good of a lawyer he is. ...He showed me a LOT of interest until my check cleared. Then I basically never saw him again. Almost 3 years after getting a "deal" that I really didn't want or like, from one of his assistants who I told I wanted to take it to trial and she would have none of it, I am still having tons of problems with my drivers license and all that they will do at the office every time I call or go back there is just look it up and verify what the DPS has told me already. Then just a blank stare and silence and a " good luck with that". This is after they told me in the beginning that I had done everything I needed to do and that there would be no problems. So, I'm on my own, like I have been since I hired them. You are going to pay them a huge amount of money and wind up doing almost all of the legwork on you're own. And the best of luck to you trying to get hold of Tim once you have paid. They are very good about contacting you when you owe them money though. Anything else and you will be lucky to get a call back after you have called them seven or eight times. I'm just really disappointed. 4500.00 plus additional fees and I think they spent a total of about 30 minutes in the courtroom, which is right next door, and they won't even consider helping me with my license issue. Like I said, check has already been cashed. I'm sure for another 4K they might actually help me get my license issue handled. I hate being sarcastic but I am really upset.

Monica Khirallah is a very professional Defense Attorney. She was always upfront and honest about my case, and she believed I had a good shot at winning my misdemeanor trial. She was right! We had numerous appointments leading up to the trial, and during those appointments, she went over everything I... needed to know in order to feel more comfortable in trial. I didn't testify for myself in trial because I knew Monica was doing such a great job that it wasn't necessary. I won the trial and now i'm in the process of expunction, and my life is headed in a great direction now, because of Monica.
