dwi

The law office of Tim powers is a joke. The hype you up during the consultation and that's all their good for. The DA had no evidence and still received 16 months probation. They did nothing but take my money. And he set it up to where I can not appeal my case. If your looking for a lawyer I would re...commend looking elsewhere! He is glad to take your money and leaving you in the dark! He will not negotiate your case with the DA. Tim powers is the DA's whipping boy and yes man!

Great Results / Great Representation / Great Attorney

Tim Powers is an outstanding attorney. He is representing me in a drug delivery case in Denton County. .He is most knowledgeable and extremely reliable. He has been dependable and trustworthy. Although I live out of state, Mr. Powers and his office have successfully kept me up to speed on the prog...ress of my case. I started out being very impatient and wanted immediate closure. Tim told me that the better results take a long time and I needed to be patient. He was absolutely right. It took over 4 months to have the drugs tested by the state lab and once the results were known my attorney went in "battle mode." The results couldn't have been better. I was informed this week the case had been dismissed. I was facing up to 20 years in prison and couldn't be more relieved. Thank you.

Tim Powers - Best Attorney in the County

When I was arrested for DWI in Denton. I had no idea who to hire for my defense attorney. That's when a very trusting friend told me to call Tim Powers, and it turned out to be the best advice possible. When I met with Tim and gave him the details about the arrest he suggested that we set up for a ju...ry trial and plead not guilty. After two and one half days of trial the jury acquitted me of the DWI charge. Tim deflated the states case and proved that the police officer failed to perform the tests correctly that he used as evidence against me. Tim is truly an expert DWI lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone that wants to win!

Tim Powers - Fantastic Lawyer

I was falsely arrested for a DWI in Flower Mound. After being inundated with advertisement letters, I spoke to three attorneys in the area about my case. I tried to select carefully and chose the one that predicted the best outcome for my case. After a couple of months, it was obvious this attorne...y was all fluff and no substance. He told me the best I could get was probation and tried to talk me into pleading guilty .I had lost all confidence in him and also found out he had been fired from the DA’s office about a year earlier. I then hired Tim Powers. Tim and his office were spectacular. It took months to get the result I wanted. The Law Office of Tim Powers believed in me any my case and I finally received the dismissal I deserved. Fantastic team.

Promises not made

My case was 10 years ago this November for purchase and furnish to minors. I went to Tim Powers based off his radio ads and his initial letter after I bonded out. When I met Mr. Powers; he was completely professional. He explained the serious charges I was facing, and that being a first time offender... with a clean record outside of this one incident he would fight for me to be put into a youth probation program. Which after completion the charges would be dropped and my life would go back to normal. I was under age and did not actually purchase nor furnish the alcohol, which made me believe what he said. Mind you I was a young stupid 19 year old who thought protecting my friends was the right thing to do little did I know it was the worst thing I could ever do with my life. Mr Powers kept me in the loop with just court dates through letter mail. When my final court date came he approached my mother and I with a bargain from the prosecution. Instead of being put into the youth program I was made example of with being punished under every stipulation outside of jail time. Mr Powers showed up late and said that it was the best he could do. I dont believe today that what he said then was true. I believe I was just another dollar sign. I remember immediately after finishing my cout ordered requirements. I was sent a letter for sealment of my records just another way for Mr Powers office to get more money from a client he did not properly represent. I am disappointed and disgusted with the fact now 10 years later I am having to try to fight and if possible clear my name. I do not deny underage drinking with what I thought were friends 10 years ago was smart it was the dumbest thing I ever did, Protecting them from getting in trouble was even worse since in reality I never purchased that alcohol. I hope for any one searching for a lawyer with a similiar charge; they stay weary of Mr Powers and his broken promises.
