Really great guy

When I called Tim's office to set up an appointment to discuss a pending issue, I was surprised how quickly and easily it occurred. I was able to meet with Tim the same afternoon, and after discussing the pending case, he was able to make some calls and get the charges dropped before they were even ...filed. Tim was very creative in the process and was able to get the case dismissed. Tim was great to meet with, was very responsive, knows the law extremely well, is well connected in Denton county, and is a very good guy.

Fair and Gracious Representation

Tim and his staff met with me the day after a DWI arrest in Lewisville. In those two days, I met with multiple potential lawyers, but it was his team who convinced me that 1) I was indeed guilty; and that 2) I would be okay. His staff negotiated a guilty plea bargain that made sense for me and my fam...ily. My life has not been too interrupted, and most importantly, Tim's staff has treated me like a human being through the whole process, and not like an 'offender,' 'perp,' or 'criminal,' which other agencies who I have dealt with during my probation period have. Tim is the consummate professional, and he hires only the best. He is diligent, fair, and worth every penny! I am super thankful for his services!

If you need a good lawyer, this is the dude.

When my wife needed serious help we went to see Tim Powers and saw the man himself - not a junior attorney. He was honest and upfront and let us know exactly what to expect and in the end he got a terribly difficult charge dismissed. That’s the absolute best outcome possible for this charge - and tha...t’s what we got. They take payments and work on your case immediately and trust me, if you need help and you’re shuffling through these attorney ads trying to figure out who can help you, go with this guy. You’ll be incredibly grateful you did.

The Best hands down!

Tim is the best criminal attorney you can hire. Unfortunately i had to hire him for two cases in a about a years time and it was a very stressful and nervous time. Tim met with me and discussed my cases with me personally, not an aide or assistant attorney but Tim himself. Tim is always straight forw...ard and honest with you when it comes to your case. He will offer his opinion but always reminds you of the worst case scenario. Tim and his staff always responded to my emails or phone calls quickly with case updates. Most of my interactions with Tim and his staff were conveniently done through email and phone calls, which was great for me and my work schedule. I am happy to post that Tim (who personally worked on both my cases) worked to get both of the pending charges against me dismissed by the DA's office. Again keep in mind this was two criminal cases within a 12 month period that got dismissed. I would highly and frequently do recommend the Law Offices of Tim Powers for your legal needs. I know if i need a lawyer their just a phone call away.

Could not ask for better

I chose the Law Offices of Tim Powers to represent me for a possession charge I received in Denton. After the initial consultation, Tim quickly informed me of all my options and ultimately got me into the first offender drug program. Along the way, I called the office with many questions regarding my... case and each time I was thoroughly answered by Tim himself or an associate. Each individual within the office was extremely personable and made me feel like I was in great hands. Could not have asked for better!
