Who needs a defense attorney?

I contacted the law office of Tim Powers because I was arrested for the first time and I didn't know what to do. To be honest he was the 13th lawyer that I had contacted. I wanted to be sure that the person I hired was going to fight for me like a parent would. When I explained the facts of the case,... he spoke to me like a father would. He made me feel comfortable for him to represent me. Him and his group got me in contact with the people I needed in order to fulfill the requirements of my case. It was not all about money with him and I wasn't just another number. Whenever I had any questions or issues, I would get a prompt response with sufficient information so that I wouldn't have to worry about my case. I would definitely hire this law firm again. I hope I will not have to though. Haha!

Awesome Lawyer team

The whole process of getting a DUI felt like my life was over. I am one of those people who wants to do great in life, have people's respect, and I want to help others. When i got the DUI i felt embarrassed and overwhelmed. I started to contact other law firms, and some of these folks wanted a lot... of money, I did not know what I was going to do finally, I contacted Tim Powers office, spoke to Mr. Powers, he was really down to earth easy to talk to. I made a deposit and they started working my case right away. I felt a relief instantly. Things were pushed back because of covid, and they would check in with me, and tell me dates and I never felt overwhelmed again!!! The day of my case his senior Lawyer worked the case and I was really pleased with outcome. I thank God for directing me to Tim Powers and his law office. Thanks again for his awesome staff and Hailey Brown for her over and beyond work. I cant express my gratitude enough, thanks so much!!!!! 10 Stars easily!!!

Amazing Representation - South Denton County DUI

Amazing representation from a team of true professionals. I reached out to Tim Powers' firm after an unfortunate DUI incident in southern Denton country resulting from my own bad decisions. Tim personally worked though my initial case review, then his skilled team worked with me through every detail ...- offering me all available options; advising me of pros and cons for each, then successfully working through the Denton county legal system until my case was fully resolved in a very positive way. I'd also note that, even though Tim's team represented me at several court appointments so I wouldn't have to appear in person, when I did appear in person, Tim and his team were very professional and were treated with great respect by everyone in the court system, which says to me that his firm is known for acting with responsibility, professionalism and respect for the law and due process. Didn't necessarily seem, to me, to be the case with other attorneys in the courtrooms representing others. Highly recommend Tim Powers - and the whole team.

Robust defense against criminal case. Savior of my future.

I had a misdemeanor theft case for which I contacted Tim Powers and he helped saved my future by deep diving into specifics of my criminal case. He took detailed time to listen critical details from my end ranging from the day of the incident and my arrest. He also followed up multiple times with me ...to discuss the best possible options for my defense and explained the possible consequences or ramifications of the plea or offer I would have end up taking up to get done with this case. I ended up taking a plea which was the best for me and my future and in future, this will end up as the best decision I have taken. This would have never happened without the brain of Tim Powers and I do not have enough thanks for him at this point. His fees are reasonable. Like I mentioned earlier, I wanted a lawyer who fought for my case thinking that he or she himself was fighting for his or her own case and Tim Powers treated my case like that and that is why I would highly recommend his services for a strong and robust criminal defense in TX especially in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Thank you Tim!

An excellent lawyer

Mr. Powers did an excellent job with my case. He was upfront and honest and told me to keep a level head, and he’d do his best for me. And that’s exactly what transpired.
