They never listened to anything I said, never responded to any of my questions and even after I fired them they continued to try to get me to pay a "trust" for future work. I've lost access to 30K worth of tools because they were to busy to write it down during our temporary hearing. There is no sha...me with them.

If I could give this law firm zero stars I would I called this company about grandparents rights instead I gave my daughter money to retain them for a protective order her kids dad put on her. We were both told the 2 cases that were discussed would cost no more than 7k with 4500 down. She was told sh...e had 30 days to do something. They assigned her case to a attorney that was out for a couple of those weeks and assured her there was plenty of time when she finally talked to the attorney they said they needed to get transcripts she got a message the following week stating that it didn't seem they were going to be able to get them with the reporter being on vacation a few days before she was told she had to file something upset she reached out to the managing attorney and of course they charged her but told her she had a additional 2 weeks which the attorney didn't tell her that. 8k in fees and they filed 1 paper for her most of the charges where the attorneys talking to each other. It ended paying that much saying they couldn't help her and she missed the time frame that someone else could. She finally asked for a bill since she never got 1 they charged. She would send messages that would go unanswered but billed to be read and ignored. She had so much hope on what was sold to us and it just ended up being a money pit I wish I had never told to go with them me out the money and her out her kids just disappointing. Please save your money and shop some where else they don't care about their clients just the money. Before its said this is untrue it is very much not. 8k with proof of 1 paper is just sad this company should be ashamed of what they are doing and taking advantage of people like this especially people in her position. Then there towards those 2 extra weeks she had they waited a week after she paid for the transcripts to request them again them getting them the day she had to have something filed. Didn't offer to refund anything or to do anything to help to make up for it just charged her more. I looked more into this company after her being done this way Believe what u read hopefully they shut this company down from doing this to others. Good luck.

⭐️ 1 Star Avoid This Firm — Unethical and Uncaring I had a terrible experience with the Law Offices of Mark M. Childress in Denton County. I hired them and paid $3,000 with the understanding that they would file motions to review court-ordered breathalyzers required of my child’s alcoholic father.... Not only did they fail to file any motions, they showed up to a single hearing and did nothing to advocate for my child. When I asked why nothing had been done, attorney Sarah Blake told me she wasn’t “hired to protect my son.” That alone says everything you need to know about how little this firm cares about its clients or children’s safety. Even worse, I was charged for calling their office simply to ask questions about my invoice. They even billed me for the time it took them to send a receipt for my own payment. This firm is not interested in doing real legal work — they are interested in billing hours and draining clients financially. If you are looking for compassionate, competent legal representation, especially in family law matters, look elsewhere.

BEWARE!!! This law firm is a scam. At first they did their job, but once I realized they were overbilling and I asked them about it, I received a $300 bill for an automated response that didn't answer any of my questions. Then they said they were terminating me for non-payment after I paid them the o...vercharge and I asked them if they were gonna continue my case. Thend I was billed nine hundred dollars for asking. I've been charged over four thousand dollars only for them to leave my case unfinished, a simple case, no children and no spouse around to object anything. I'm out $4000 and left with an unfinished case. If you're looking for a lawyer that you can speak to and willl keep you informed about your case, then this law firm is not for you. They will charge you hundreds for any question you have even about them being incompetent and overcharging. They lied to me about what they bill per hour, and i was told it wouldnt cost much more than $2000 for the divorce, boy was that a lie! IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A DIVORCE LAWYER, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I advise you not to waste your time and money with these scammers. If you have been scammed by this law firm, contact the bar association and the better business bureau and file a complaint

This law firm is a complete scam, they take people’s money and do nothing. They do not respond in a timely manner, if they respond at all and nickel and dime you for everything. This is not normal! Please anyone considering this firm think again. They truly need to be looked into by the bar associati...on and law enforcement for their tactics. They mishandled my grandfathers divorce and he has now had to hire a different law firm to take care of the mess they created. When reaching out to other firms they even mentioned how many complaints they have heard regarding Mark Childress. I thought Rick Mitchell was better when he took over after Sarah Robbins but turns out he is not it’s all a facade. He puts a good face on but he’s just as bad they are all crooks. Their security guard at the Dallas location is a joke she is a huge uneducated individual that is disrespectful and only there to try and scare paying customers away, because once you pay and retain them you are not allowed on the property, in what world is this normal? Desiree is also a mess and the communication amongst all parties is a disgrace. Please do your research and do not fall victim to this firm. Even having to give it 1 Star is an overstatement.
