BEST EXPERIENCE WITH AT LAWYER

My wife and I hired Mark Childress based on word of mouth. And, I am extremely pleased we did. The outcome could not have been better. Mark was upfront when it came to questions. He never beat around the bush. Nor did he over promise and under deliver. (Which is very common among lawyers.) Let me jus...t say the cards were stacked against us. But Mark came thru with the best possible results. From my family to your's Thank you Mark. Awesome job. Will send countless referrals.

MARK IS THE MAN

So I don't have the time to really explain my entire situation and how Mark handled it, but I will say that the guy is smart, he knows what he is doing, he will make the best decision for you without you having to worry about it, just listen to what he says and trust him and he will take care of you.... Thank You Mark! Very intelligent, organized, and prompt lawyer. He's got his head on his shoulders and takes care of his business. I respect this man. If I have any further issues he is going to be the first guy I call.

Excellent

So happy that I used Mark for my divorce. He was very good at explaining every detail to me which helped me feel less worried. It went according to plan and I was divorced in a short period of time. Can't say enough how happy I am that he made it so easy for me and my family to get through this tough... time in a civilized manner. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a family law attorney!

Do not use unless you have deep pockets!

Hired him for a divorce, me and my spouse decided to work things out a month after I filled. Paid a $5,000 cash retainer that's non refundable that he failed to mention and just has you breeze thru paper work skipping over that part. Told me I could keep case open for a year. However now I owe a bala...nce for this case. Never went to court! There were a few emails back in forth but when I reviewed my invoice I was charged a ridiculous amount of fees of him going back and forth with OC. And to review my case file. When basically there was nothing to review or to go back and forth with OC so much. I can't imagine how much the actual divorce would of cost if I followe thru with divorce.

It should be known that this person offered me a positive online review if I would refund their retainer, and when I refused they posted this. I DO NOT buy online reviews, and that is what this person was trying to convince me to do. The balance owed that this person mentioned is $50.00, and I of course already agreed to waive it. I tell every client that divorce is a stressful and expensive process, and should be given careful consideration prior to beginning the process. Generally my initial retainers are nonrefundable, and based on the amount of work that will be required in each case. The terms of the retainer are explained to clients, and all clients sign a contract verifying the terms prior to any work being done in any case. In this particular instance the parties had the attorneys set and remove several hearings from the Court's docket, and even considered protective orders against one another. Needless to say, this case involved extensive communication, and litigants who would fight one day and make up the next. Now these two people who have accused one another of terrible things have decided to stay married and cancel the divorce. I do not make life decisions for clients. If clients request that I set, reset, or cancel hearings, I do so in order to give the client time to make decisions in their case, and that is exactly what happened in this instance. I have assisted hundreds of families through difficult times, and the overwhelming majority are pleased with the results that they receive, and the communication that I have with them. Unfortunately, some people blame others for the problems in their lives, and I cannot help that. I am sorry that this particular client is unhappy. I am candid in my communication with all clients, and I do not create the problems that my clients bring to me. I simply try to assist clients in making the best of difficult situations, and I hope that the reconciliation of this marriage lasts and that the parties some day think of this experience as one that brought them back together.

Great Attorney

I would highly recommend Mark as your family law attorney. I hired him for my child custody case. He is very knowledgeable and very well liked in the courts. Marks demeanor, compassion and confidence as a lawyer eased my mind and anxiety about my case. I was stressed and worried about my court d...ates, but Mark took the time to explain in detail the process that would take place. Mark always responded back to my questions in a timely matter. He is an A+ in my book.
