Amazing Attorney

He is a take charge lawyer. He guided me in the right direction when I felt lost, confused, and unsure He xplained in plain English the legal process of family law that can be so confusing and the pros and cons of my choices and helped me decide what is best for our case.

My Grandparent Rights

I met Justin in February of 2012. I had looked him up in the YP and I knew God had sent me to him. The first meeting was just to see if he thought we had a case and 2 weeks later we felt he was our only hope of winning visitation with our then 12 year old twin grandsons. He was always very honest ...from the beginning, sometimes he hit nerves that I didn't like, but after he explained the "why" it was what he was doing. Giving me all options on things I either needed to let go or to do for the good of my case. There was a lot of crying and there was challenges to learn. Our first victory was supervised visits at the mothers house once every other week to see them for three hours. That ended on June 9, 2012. I ask the mother can we continue this arrangement or do we go to our lawyers. The boys became up set and the mother and I told them no it was fine and I left knowing that would be the last time I would see them until we took it to court and the judge made his decision. I could not talk to them on the phone, I couldn't go to school activities and that Christmas I drove by their house only to see a deserted house. It took me several months to discover she had bought a house in the same area but no change of address to our lawyer. After several no shows and mail being returned undeliverable in June of 2013 we found out she had picked up her kids and moved. She changed her email, phone numbers, the boys phones and disappeared , she disguised herself as several different names and not only her but the boys. We proved that her whole family helped her disappear to myself. Justin didn't give up, he worked and finally she was ordered to show up or accept the obvious. That day in court, June of this year, he won what we had been fighting for, just to see our boys who are now 15. I praise God for sending us to Justin's office. I highly recommend his services and he is still working with me if we ever need his services again. I believe he should get recognition for winning this case and so much more. I never knew that Texas did not have any grand parent rights and Justin warned us from the beginning. He knew my son, the twins father, had passed away Janurary 14, 2012 due to diabetes and he was the most professional lawyer and yet he was hard where he needed to be and comforting at the same time. My oldest son and I on first impression, loved the fact that he was so confident and could tell he was a fighter for justice and his clients. He is good and I can't say enough good things about him. He has become my families HERO, and I will always appreciate the job he did for us. Thank you, Barbara

Excellent!

Justin Sisemore and his team went above and beyond for my family. They stayed in contact with me throughout my case and made sure to answer any questions I had quickly and efficiently. They are very organized and know exactly what they are doing. They worked hard for my family and showed they cared. ...In the end my case was won. I would recommend Sisemore Law Firm to anyone. They are excellent! I can't say enough great things about them.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
