Mr. Herrmann has been in the workforce since he was 4 years old working for his family’s business. Born and raised in a small town in southwestern Kansas, at an early age Mr. Herrmann saw the unfair treatment that employees received and their inability to take a stand against their employer - after all it's the employees livlihood that's at stake. Often employees have no voice and are understandably fearful to stand up against an employer who is violating the law.
The overwhelming majority of Mr. Herrmann’s practice is devoted to representing aggrieved employees in labor and employment matters. Mr. Herrmann has experience litigating employment matters in federal and state courts in Texas. Mr. Herrmann also has experience handling employment matters at the administrative phase in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission, Civil Rights Division, Fort Worth Human Rights Commission, and other state employment agencies.
Mr. Herrmann regularly represents employees in state and federal courts across Texas in cases ranging from wage lawsuits, overtime lawsuits, lawsuits concerning salary-exempt status, lawsuits concerning the payment of tips, tip pools and gratuities, discrimination lawsuits, sexual harassment lawsuits, wrongful termination lawsuits, retaliation lawsuits, breach of contract lawsuits, and other workplace lawsuits.
