DASEB for a request to transfer the GOMOR to my restricted portion of my AMHRR

I have never written a review but I think it is a privilege to share my experience working with COL(R) William (Bill) Meili. If you are at this point searching for a military lawyer, I imagine how confused you must be. It is difficult putting your career in the hands of someone you don’t know. I was ...in the same situation. As an Officer, I needed a lawyer to help me fight a GOMOR and stumbled upon COL Meili’s profile. I took the chance and made a call that has dramatically changed my situation. He is easily the most intelligent and hardworking military lawyer you’ll ever encounter. COL Meili is a professional with genuine concern for his clients. Consider this, what is the cost of a good lawyer representing you versus your entire career life on the line? I am in no way a paid spokesperson for COL William Meili. This review is written based on first-hand experience of a good lawyer.

Security Clearance Consulting / Military Law

Bill is an exceptional lawyer across the board for all types of counsel for which I have used him repeatedly over the past two decades. We met while in the Army. Bill just this year consulted with me on my Top Secret clearance application and this month I received notice that my final clearance w...as granted (understand there is a year or more backlog on clearances now). If I had not reached out to Bill and had him listen to and provide feedback on my concerns and application I would have been ill prepared for subsequent interview(s) from the background investigators and the process in general, which could have put me at risk. Clearances, in my current profession as a contractor are what allows me to work and using Bill as a consultant is a small but very important "price" to pay to insure you get your clearance granted, whether it is an upgrade, periodic re-investigation or new application. Bill has, in the past, provided legal counsel based on my suggestion to three close personal friends and literally saved their military/contractor careers because of his expertise and skill. Strongly recommend Bill as a must have in your tool kit. Sincerely, "JD" Colonel (USA, RET)

Consultant

Mr. Meili was an excellent consultant explaining upfront the costs of his services and how to start the process of bringing him on board. He works very hard to maintain contact with you and is dedicated to your case.

Remission of debt to the Navy

Remission of Debt to the United States Navy Recently, my life was turned upside down. After dedicating four years of my life to military service, I was notified that I would be separated and discharged from the United States Navy due to a health issue. Additionally, the Navy recommended recoupmen...t ; that I pay back all educational and related benefits for those four years. The amount was simply overwhelming. I was truly fortunate that a family member got me in touch with the office of Mr. William C. Meili. Since my first phone call to his office, I knew I was dealing with the ultimate professional. His office staff was courteous and hospitable, taking a genuine interest in my case and understanding my need for expediency. Mr. Meili himself was prompt in getting back to me, and after our first conversation he made it clear that he truly cared about my case. Again, being the ultimate professional, he took time to research and investigate my case before taking me on as a client. He was in no rush to send me any type of bill, he simply wanted to ensure that his representation of me was truly in my best interest. In his billing and negotiation with me, he was always fair, upfront, and transparent about why I was paying what I was paying, and exactly what I was paying for. His expertise in dealing with the civilian and military legal systems, his vast network of contacts and expert staff members, and most importantly his fierce dedication to his clients were what made it clear to me that I needed him on my team. After Mr. Miley Meili came on board, he kept me informed every step of the way and let me know that I was never out of his attention or off of his desk. His determination to investigate and work the case for me only heightened after he joined my team. Throughout my entire process, he was diligent, supportive, and respectful. There are not words to express how much easier my life became and the weight that was lifted for my family when Mr. Meili joined my team and we know no longer had to fight the case alone. If I could go back, the only thing I would do differently would be to get Mr. Meili on my team from day one. You will not find a more dedicated representative anywhere in the legal system. If Mr. Meili offers to represent you, it is only because he knows that he can get things done in your case. If that offer does come, you're your only question should be when he can start!

You can not have anyone better!

Words cannot express how good of a lawyer Bill Meili is. I had an AWOL case hanging over my head for 14 years. Before I contacted Bill, I called multiple lawyers to handle the case. It seemed most of them just wanted to prove that it was a complicated situation so they could take a huge amount of mon...ey from me. Bill, on the other hand, was very caring and actually wanted to solve my problem before even talking about money. Bill did an amazing job! He handled all issues and the necessary defense paperwork and briefs, traveled numerous times to Fort Sill and Fort Hood, Texas, and overall made sure I was safe and that my case was being properly handled by the government. Without a doubt Bill is not only committed and dedicated to his work, he is an honest, caring and a loving person. His experience and knowledge got me out of the Army with an administrative discharge. There were other similar cases to mine on the base which ended up with jail time for those soldiers. I was so glad that I had Bill Meili on my side to take care of me. I am sure if it was not for Bill, I would have had the same results as others and ended up with a federal conviction. I recommend anyone and everyone who needs any assistance -- no matter how tough the situation is -- call Bill Meili without any hesitation. You will appreciate it and will have no regret in your life.

Bill gives his all to his clients, making them feel as though a successful resolution of their case is the most important thing in his life.
