I could not ask for a better lawyer.

I hired Bill Meili after a less than stellar experience with another lawyer. The other lawyer was not able to resolve my problem and it cost me a lot of money. I can tell you that Bill not only solved my problem but he is also one of the most competent and committed persons I've ever met in my life.... (I'm a former Marine and a Firefighter/ Paramedic. I've met some competent and committed individuals in my life.) Bill and his staff were fast and efficient every step of the way. They knew what they were doing and they dotted every i and crossed every t. Bill always kept me informed of the situation and he was never to busy to answer my questions. Bill treated me like family. He was completely honest, caring, and fun to be around. You can trust that if you hire Bill he will do everything he can to help you.

Excellent attorney

Mr. Meili is a knowledgeable and caring attorney. Within minutes of contacting him through his website, he called me and allotted time for me to explain my situation and needs. Although there isn't much he could do at this time (I truly wish I had contacted him sooner), Mr. Meili nevertheless, was st...ill able to provide me with some extremely helpful information I could not have found on my own Bill Meili is an expert in his field and he helped me view and analyze new options for my future.

UQR Assistance and Family Advocate

We were referred to Bill by a close friend who had just been through a similar difficulty in getting UQR approval at HRC. In our case, my husband's UQR was approved at the unit level, but denied at higher. He had already declined promotion in order to get out, informed his chain he intended to get ou...t, had a civilian job waiting, and as far as we knew he was all set. It wasn't until after the first UQR submission that he found out he owed another 12 months because he had used TA. He re-submitted following HRC guidance that was supposed to eliminate the ADSO by repaying the TA, however even with the UQR was denied again. Before trying a third time, we decided we needed help. We had already sold our home and relocated, his staying in would be an enormous burden both financially and emotionally. Seeing the impact this made on our family, Bill became an immediate advocate, He reviewed the documentation, took the time to learn the whole story, and found support for our cause in areas we had not thought to mention previously. Bill quickly and expertly developed a final product that was professional, airtight, and presented our case from all angles. Upon reading his final product the only logical option would be favorable action. We are currently awaiting a final decision. Fortunately for us, Bill's dedication has presented us with other options. He called me, while already traveling on our behalf to personally present our case, to inform us of doctrine he had found that would provide us with a second option (medical) should HRC refuse again. Bill brought humor, guidance, and hope when we thought we had none. I strongly recommend Bill Meili to anyone who feels their case is not being handled properly, who feels they have not received accurate representation via Army paperwork alone, or who thinks they are helpless in administrative action.

Officer separation with an additional duty service obligation

I contacted Bill because I had a problem getting my unqualified resignation signed off at the HRC level. I been denied because of an Additional Duty Service Obligation of transferring my GI Bill benefits to my spouse that would only take my commitment 9 more months past my original obligation from fl...ight school. The problem was they were trying PCS me away from my family for a year when it was needless and would of gladly served out remaining 9 months in reserve. Bill, came on board to help my cause with great enthusiasm for my case because he saw that I wasn't being handled with common sense, fairly and just cause. Bill immediately went to work on gathering a foundation of support with people in my chain of command and developed a course of action. Bill Meili made it a priority to get the whole story of me personally including a personal connection with my family. My family has gained a deep respect for Bill because of his true character and profound caring for my family overall. Bill's efforts ultimately led to my successful release from active duty with a honorable discharge I deserve. Mr Meili not only focused on my case but advised me and gave me personal advice on issues I had been dealing with. I strongly recommend Bill Meili to anyone with administrative issues or other matters that aren't being handled fairly and with respect for the whole person perspective. In the long run my family has gained a lifelong friend. -CW2 W.

Thank You

After an exhaustive search of military attorneys, I came across the name of Bill Meili. From my first email exchange and telephone call, I knew that Bill was the right person to handle my case. I had discussed my unique circumstance with a handful of other attorneys who felt it may be too difficult t...o achieve the outcome that I was seeking - but Bill was interested in me and my case, and wholeheartedly believed that we had the ball in our court. I could tell that Bill cared about me as a person and soldier, not just viewing me as a paycheck. After months of multiple interview sessions, fact finding, document searching, etc., Bill constructed a very impressive brief for submission to DoD, written in the most professional and expert tone, with a plethora of supporting evidence and citations. Bill's dedication and expertise continued through to my board hearing where he represented me and my interests better than I could have ever articulated myself. After an almost 2 year process, I walk away impressed and thankful. I don't think it possible to find a more dedicated advocate than Bill Meili, and I will not hesitate to give him a call in the future should I need advice and/or counsel.

Bill gives his all to his clients, making them feel as though a successful resolution of their case is the most important thing in his life.
