I opted to get a 2nd opinion on a family matter/protective order case so I chose the AVVO 15 minute phone option for the first time. I would highly recommend Shawn for a variety of legal matters. I have been under his guidance for over five years for both criminal and family matters and he has been extremely successful in handling my cases in a way that left me more than pleased. This is why I have continued going to him for any... legal matters. I recently received a Class B Misdemeanor theft charge, which seemed impossible to have lowered. Shawn was able to have the charge dropped to a Class C Misdemeanor (meaning I can have it expunged from my records), keep me from having to serve any jail-time and even from having to go on probation.
