Shawn has helped my husband and I on numerous occassions from simple case dismissals, to criminal court cases, and even a huge CPS case. He was very attentive and would advise us of different options that we had which included different outcomes by still reiterating his legal advice. He is very nice ...and personable as well as respecting his clients and their wishes. I would recommend him to anyone that needs help with legal matters big or small. For any reason I might need legal counsel in the future, he will be the first person I would call.

I hired Shawn because I had heard that he was a beast in the courtroom. Much to my surprise, he's more like dandelion. My case was very simple; defend the allegations from CPS against my wife and myself. We had the evidence for our case, statements from friends, family, and aquaintences, financial, h...abitual, and medical. Shawn didn't talk to anyone, for or against. He did little more than relay what the other attorney and judge said. WE WERE STANDING RIGHT THERE! I know what was said. We didn't need to pay someone to just stand there and play "telephone"! He did not defend any allegations against us, he didn't follow up with any evidence that we had. Took a lot of vacations though! Damn sure didn't do thousands of dollars worth of counsel. Couldn't fight a loitering ticket from the moon! Horrible disgrace.

I opted to get a 2nd opinion on a family matter/protective order case so I chose the AVVO 15 minute phone option for the first time. I think I learned more in this 15 minutes then I did in a few calls and in office visits that lasted an hour or more! Shawn was very nice and direct and offered inval...uable information. My only problem is that while in Texas - Shawn in not in my city or else I would have already retained him. Thanks Buddy for the great information and confirmation(s) of some legal questions/suspicions I had. Although it was not the news I wanted to hear it was the news I had suspected.
