William Mark Stevens

Mr. Stevens has over 15 years of legal experience and has personally handled many hundreds of cases in his career. His experience includes both state and federal complex civil litigation, including wage disputes, intellectual property, and adversarial proceeding in bankruptcy court. He also has experience in criminal defense, divorce, probate, and immigration. His family law experience began in law school clinic, where he completed his first divorce in his second year of law school. After graduating from law school, Mr. Stevens learned probate by serving as ad litem on many cases in the Tarant County probate courts. His criminal defense cases include both felony and misdemeanor charges. His immigration practice began with H-2A visa applications and expanded over the years to include citizenship and naturalization cases, consular processing, family and employment based immigration (I-130 and I-140) cases, VAWA, DACA, asylum, and Immigration Court removal defense.

Mr. Stevens received his Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law). While in law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Phi Delta Phi law fraternity, Law Review, Law Review Symposium Editor, and was one of 6 published law review authors. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas, in the Northern, Southern, and Eastern District federal courts of Texas, in the US 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and in the DOJ's EOIR Immigration Courts.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Stevens worked in the software, security, and electrical engineering fields.

In his spare time, he enjoys photography, programming, electronics, and spending time with his family.
