To resolve a construction issue, choose a construction attorney with a background in construction!Written contracts are the law between the parties. The terms matter and can be used against you. Before law school, I was a licensed professional engineer. I speak construction.
When I really had to work for a living, I was a licensed professional engineer. I have focused my legal practice for the last 25+ years on the construction and surety industries. Having an engineering and construction background, helps me analyze issues more astutely and with better perspective. Clients tell me that it is refreshing to have an attorney who speaks construction lingo, and understand the construction process. I was Chairman of the Dallas Bar Association Construction Section. I frequently act as the Arbitrator in arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association.
