I hired Douglas Huff with Hamilton Grant after interviewing 4 attorneys following my arrest for a serious DWI with a high BAC. I was devastated, embarrassed, and disappointed in myself. I cannot begin to tell you how GREAT Doug is, from the very beginning with my DWI case as I interviewed various attorneys he was genuinely concerned. I at first made the mistake of hiring another firm for my ALR hearing. Make no mistake when it comes to a DWI hearing and your license don't go for t...he ambulance chasers. I did & boy was that an ENORMOUS mistake. I ended up going back to Doug & I should have paid attention to my initial gut instinct, I came back to him and he immediately jumped into my case and I gave him very little notice. Doug really cares and is extremely diligent in reviewing all the information on your case. I had over 20+ hours of videos that were taken with my case. Doug always made me comfortable in spending time with me and addressing all my questions and concerns and is extremely caring. I cannot tell you how glad I am that I ended up hiring him to defend me & I strongly recommend that you hire him if you find yourself in my predicament...I hope I am never in this same position ever. Trust me DO NOT go with the ambulance chasers or I should say DWI chasers that promise the world, you are just another number. Another issue is if you are in Collin County you almost literally have zero chance of getting your ALR hearing or a deal on your DWI that would actually dismiss your case. My now ex-husband went through this over 17 years ago and the D.A. ALWAYS prosecutes EVERY CASE. If you are in Dallas County you might have a chance of getting it dismissed...but in Collin County you have about ZERO chance of that happening. Take my advice, get the best legal representation you can get and that would be Doug. He formerly used to tutor individuals on how to pass the bar.
