Mark treated my case as if it was his own with respect and paid close attention to details he fought for me and my daughter in court and stood by me through the whole process I don't think I can thank him enough.

Not sure even where to start with Mark, typically when I think of lawyers my blood boils, But Mark is not a typical (overpriced, cocky, sleezeball) lawyer Mark is just a down to earth guy that is all about making a reliable, honest, and reputable business for the working man.
Mark handled my un-contested divorce in Dallas County. Mark was not the cheapest around but he was by far the best when considering Price, Attention to detail, Experience, and Prompt Professionalism. Some of the go to quick divorce places like (123divorce and cheapdivorce.com) maybe be under 400 dollars, but good luck getting a call back and good luck knowing your lawyer before court day.
Mark never once failed to return a call within normal business hours, and on multiple occasions responded to emails late at night. For my Uncontested Divorce with 2 decree changes in the process he only charged $800 dollars and that INCLUDED the filing fees.
If you need any legal services and are looking for a Fair and Honest (cant believe i said that about a lawyer) than look no further than Mark Cohan.
Thanks Alot Mark!

Mark recently helped me with my custody/geographical restrictions case. I took a better paying job in Houston and was in the process of relocating. My ex-husband was upset by this and decided he would take it to court and try to get a custody switch.
When I first met with Mark, he explained what would happen including the possible consequences of my move without the court's approval. He was honest with me and did not set any false or unrealistic expectations. He managed to keep me calm during the drawn out custody battle and always got back to me to answer my questions no matter how silly they were. He took the time to explain everything to me to make sure I understood.
When the court date rolled around, he was very well prepared and truly fought for me. I was especially impressed with his attention to detail and how well he represented me. In the end, not only did he get the geographical restrictions lifted but he was also able to drastically increase the amount of child support I received monthly AND have my ex-husband meet me half way to pick up our son during his visitation days instead of having me drive to Dallas every other weekend to drop off like I’ve been doing.
At first, I thought I had a very weak case that wouldn’t hold up in court but Mark turned it into a very strong one. Thanks to Mark my son and I are now in a much better living situation. Most importantly, I no longer have to worry about the possibility of losing custody.
I can't say enough good things about Mark. He is trustworthy, knowledgable, patient, and incredibly sharp. He genuinely cares about his clients and tells it like it is. He is flexible and works with his clients based on their needs. I am so glad that I came across his contact info back in December. My life has changed for the better and I owe it all to Mark.
Mark Cohan gives lawyers a good name.

Mark is a good guy who tries hard. I personally think he just needs more experience and needs to be a little more aggressive. (which I'm sure will happen as he gets the experience) If you have a simple case, Mark is a good attorney.

I had an issue with old traffic tickets that had caused a hold to be put onto my driver's license. Mark Cohan took care of the tickets and the hold with a minimal amount of work on my part. He was very explicit with the expectations from my end and kept an open line of communication. Whenever I had questions about paperwork or the status of my case, he promptly answered in a way I could understand.
I would highly recommend Mr. Cohan to anyone seeking legal advice. I never felt like I was another client, and he always presented himself as knowledgeable and thorough. If for some reason I should ever need help with a legal issue, I will certainly call Mr. Cohan first.

When my father passed away without a will, I had no idea what to do with his estate. After a little bit of research, I contacted Mark Cohan and he walked me through the probate procedure. With his help, he made a daunting process a lot easier and his knowledge on the subject was very helpful.
Later on I returned to him with another job, this time with some questions my girlfriend had regarding a personal injury claim stemming from a car accident. He was able to steer us through the stressful process with relative ease. Needless to say, I've got him bookmarked for future use should the necessity arise!

After a client made some questionable revisions to my standard contract, I thought I needed a lawyer. I asked around and my friends recommended Mark Cohan. I was very impressed by his knowledge and thoroughness as he went through the lengthy contract and client revisions with a fine-tooth comb, explaining every detail in laymen's terms along the way. He made the necessary changes to protect our business and did it for a very reasonable rate.
I went to Mark a second time after someone close to me passed away. He helped us understand what needed to be done with her estate, what we could expect, and helped us with all the legal details regarding transfer of title and probate. If I ever need a lawyer again, I'm coming to Mark.

I have been in the market to get a will drawn up for some time, especially after the death of my uncle last year resulted in a messy estate with no will, and as a result my family was left to deal with his left-over bills and burial costs with no recourse besides their own funds. Although Mark is not located in Austin, he was recommended to me by a friend and after a short email correspondence made it clear that not only would our locations not be an issue, but I would be able to reduce costs in some ways since most of our interaction would be through email.
The process of creating the will was much easier than I imagined, and Mark was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Additionally, he went out of his to make sure that my will planned for any likely future events, such as marriage or children, so that it would be a document that I would not have to get modified or replaced for some time.
I would most definitely recommend Mark to anyone within the Dallas and Central Texas area if you are in need of legal services. He is a motivated, trustworthy, and diligent attorney, and I would not hesitate to call on him again when I am in need of legal advice or counsel.
