Civil & criminal litigation; from constitutional rights and catastrophic loss claims, to consumer fraud or class C misdemeanors, if a person has been wronged, I believe the law ought to provide a remedy, and if it doesn't on it's face, I'll do my best to persuade a judge and/or jury to craft one.

Easy to work with, Great results!

I had two old tickets I forgot about that entered Warrant Status. I called Winocour and someone named Bre answered the phone. She was very polite and answered all of my questions and outlined the entire process. Winocour got my warrants lifted very quickly. Though all I was hoping for was a reduct...ion in fines, Winocour got my tickets 100% dismissed. I didn't have to show up to court or do anything. I'm beyond thrilled.

The best experience for speeding ticket

I live in California and was travelling to Dallas. I was cited by a police officer for speeding 40 over the limit in Dallas. This was my very first time hiring an attorney, I saw the reviews of Winocour and contacted them. Within a few minutes, I got an email reply with a form to fill and the actual ...procedure to hire them. After I filled the form which was given to me, I was immediately contacted via phone and was explained how everything works. I was also informed that I would be contacted regularly via email with my case updates. I was also told that possibly my ticket would be taken off my record. Fingers crossed! Till now, Winocour's office handled my case exceptionally well. I Will write another review with my final outcome and the full experience.

As the farmer-in-chief of our low farm, I researched this client's file and determined she was cited on April 15, 2016 for stopping, standing or parking on a roadway, and that an accident was associated with her traffic violation. She was also cited for failing to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance). The total fines and court costs that could have been assessed were $310.00 for the traffic violation and $421.00 for no insurance. We negotiated a reduction on the no insurance ticket to $321.00 and a reduction on the traffic violation to $100.00. An additional requirement was provision of a 'damage statement' from the client's insurance company detailing physical damage caused to the client's car as a result of the accident. Assuming the client complies with her obligations under the deal we negotiated, both her citations will be dismissed. After accounting for the $170.00 she paid us, we saved her $130.00, kept the citations off her record, she didn't have to attend court, nor does she have to pay anything to the court until August 1, 2016. lol

Terrible customer service

I received a citation on 02/20/17 and decided to hire Winocour law. What a waste of money. First I I paid the 40.00 bucks to hire the attorney .A few weeks later I was opening my mail on a Friday afternoon I noticed correspondence from another law firm letting me know they could get my warrant lifted... for me .I almost fell out of my seat. I then promptly called the Dallas city courts to inquire about my case. I was told I had a warrant issued for failure to appear in court. I then called Winocour law to find out what happened. The receptionist was going to check and call me right back. Well she did not call me back and the business was closed for the weekend. Well here I was scheduled to do out of town on business with an active warrant. I have never had a warrant in my life so I was scared to death. Finally Monday morning I called again and the receptionist said there had been a mix up and the attorney was scheduled to appear on Wednesday before the court to clear things up. I sent several email requesting a call but had not received any communication to update me on the status of my warrant. I finally called the court to find out the warrant had been lifted. Then today I did get a notice telling me that my case was deferred and was ordered to pay the original ticket amount of 225.00 .Why did I hire them I could have requested a deferred ticket myself and saved me the aggervation,$40.00 and possible arrest with the failure to appear warrant .DO NOT USE THIS FIRM THEY ARE INCOMPENENT AND PROVIDE NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE CLIENTS. If the competing law office had not sent the warrant letter out I would still be Driving around not knowing I had warrant .I want my 40 bucks back!!!

Jimmy - On April 11, 2017 I authorized a full refund to you as a result of your poor experience with our firm. While I am glad we were able to secure deferred disposition at a reduced rate (meaning your citation will not go to your record if you comply with the terms of the deferral order - payment of $224.00 to the City of Dallas on or before May 7, 2017, which is a Sunday, so best to get it to the City on the Friday before at the latest), I sincerely apologize you had to sweat over a weekend worrying about a warrant being out for your arrest, and that our communication was poor. Without going into a lot of detail, suffice to say we have used this as a 'teachable moment' to ensure our communication processes are improved going forward.
