I cannot recommend Buck enough! He is extremely competent as well as pragmatic. He knows what is worth fighting for and what is not, without wasting his clients' money. He is familiar with the prosecutors and judges and their temperaments and records and who might be amenable to what compromises. He... is also incredibly responsive, inclusion via text and email. He got my charges reduced to something minor with a short probation and the ability to have the charge expunged. I am so happy that I chose Buck.

A family member was charged with DUI after totaling my car, and we hired Mr. Johnson upon the recommendation of a family friend. He and his staff were very professional, and clearly quite knowledgeable. Our first appointment was within days of our initial call, and future phone calls to his office we...re quickly responded to by him or his paralegal. He handled all interactions with the court, without the need to disrupt our lives by being present. Upon reviewing the police in-dash cam, he found what he felt would be the key in having the case dismissed. Mr. Johnson did not sugar-coat with false positive expectations; he would still have to win the battle, but did voice a very good chance for a dismissal. My family member only had to appear for the pretrial hearing; no testimony from him/her (staying intentionally vague). Even though the arresting officer appeared and testified at the hearing, Mr. Johnson was able to artfully cross examine the officer, and used the police cam video to successfully demonstrate the reasons for why this case should be dismissed....and the judge agreed!!! I highly recommend Mr. Johnson for any needs you are facing. Just remember, not all cases can be won....but he clearly has the skills to find you the best fighting chance.

I received a DWI charge several years back. I went through a couple attorneys before I was referred to Mr. Johnson, or "Buck" as he is known by, by a friend that said he was the "best attorney ever". Of course, I took that phrase with a grain of salt at first, but decided to meet with him to see if h...e was the kind of attorney I wanted on my case. When I first met Buck, I immediately felt at ease. You could tell just by speaking with him for a few minutes that he was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He is a very straight shooter and will tell it exactly how it is. And boy did he. After a quick review of my paperwork, he said it looks like it could be a tough one, but he wanted to take a closer look when there was more time. I came to Buck with a case that looked gloomy, to say the least. It was a case that seemed stacked against me. Buck assured me not to get ahead of myself, allow him to take a closer look at the evidence, then we would proceed from there. After reviewing the evidence, Buck recommended to me that we fight the case. Never having fought a case before, I was reluctant, but after hearing his reasoning and the confidence in his voice, I agreed. Then the battle began. With it being the court system, it was months before the trial actually occurred. Even though the whole process took months, I never felt like I was out of the loop. Between Buck and his assistant, Misha, there was constant communication back and forth, they answered all the questions that I had, and they were always just a phone call away. They gave me plenty of heads up if I needed to arrive at the courthouse, they advised what to wear, what to expect, everything. As the trial neared, I became more and more nervous. I had never been to trial before. I had no idea what it would be like. But, of course, Buck called me several days before the case itself and went over exactly what to expect. He advised that I would not have to go on to the stand. Just let him take it over from there. Then the day of the trial comes. Buck meets me in the hallway as expected. With a smile on his face, he basically says, ‘Let’s go to work’. I am still nervous, but that quickly subsided once I saw Buck in action. Watching Buck during the case was like watching a superhero in action. He knew exactly what to do, what to say, and when to say it. It was almost unreal. I have seen those shows like “Law and Order”, but none of those attorneys even came close to how well Buck did in the trial. It was amazing seeing this man at work. The case was won purely because of the familiarity, knowledge, and expertise of Buck Johnson. Now, I must admit, this is unfortunately not my first experience with criminal defense attorneys. I was charged with a DWI back in August of 2014 and buck Johnson really helped me out. I was 20 at the time and was so worried and stressed out about the fees that I would have to pay for since I knew family members who went through the process. The messed up thing about it was that I was smoking pot... not drinking when in was pulled over. Buck took my case and gave me a timeframe and his thoughts on the case. I had 2 previous lawyers who didn't believe my story and where just going to walk me through the DWI process but buck believed my story and was able to get video tapes of my sobriety test, blood work, police reports etc. Not only did buck get my DWI changed to an obstruction of the hwy but he got me unsupervised probation!!!! The process did take a about a year and a half but buck had advised me of the long process when we originally spoke ,and his assistant Msha always kept me updated on the case and arranged meetings with buck so he can answer all my dumb questions when I requested.
