William David Burrows

After only seconds of meeting David, I knew he would be my choice to represent my DWI case. That is what David does. After seeing his wall of cases that were either dismissed or found innocent, just from the past year, I realized how good David was at his job. He is well known around the court house ...which goes an unmeasurable distance when you are fighting a DWI. I am very happy to say that my case was dismissed this morning, and I'm sure David is proudly hanging my dismissal on his wall as I write this review! I don't plan on needing any future legal guidance, but in the slight chance, I would not hesitate one second before calling David. Strongly recommended.

I had a hard time finding a lawyer as they all seemed the same to me. I met with many of them and I felt like I was sitting through an infomercial in some way or another. I don't usually place a lot of value in the "pitch" but David Burrows seemed to be more genuine than others. Turns out that he was..., for which I'm very grateful. He took notes which he seems to refer to consistently, was very realistic, never promised me anything that couldn't be done, and in the end he pulled through. He definitely didn't try to rush my case, which I appreciated (and in the end mattered quite a bit). It was very clear after watching his interactions with various members of the court that he pretty much knew everybody and everybody knew him. I had a good outcome with what was a very tough case. Even if I didn't, I wouldn't have felt like I wasted the money, but it was obvious that it was through his experience that I got what I did.

If I could describe David in one word, it would be: effective. When I first came to David I was extremely downcast about my case; I had been arrested for a DWI, and to make matters worse I had provided proof that I was guilty by blowing in a Breathalyzer. I was recently hired as a teacher, but because my probation was still in effect I was going to be deemed as ineligible. I immediately called David and without hesitation he scheduled to meet with the judge two days later to motion for my probation to be dropped. It got dropped a week later and now I can have a career.
