Alex Harper is an excellent attorney and a true professional who cares about his clients! I was wrongly accused of impaired driving, and Alex was able to have my DMV hearing set aside and went the extra mile by advocating on my behalf to have the DA dismiss the case. He's a good man to have on your ...

For a matter involving a security guard working for a well-known theater with lots of power, I interviewed 5 attorneys after reading "questions to ask before hiring an attorney" (so I was well prepared). The others were very good, but I thought Mr. Harper would be best. He was knowledgeable, experien...

I was charged with carjacking in Oakland, CA. Mr. Harper took my case. He worked really hard and was talking to the DA all the time. Mr. Harper convinced the DA that I wasn't there when the carjacking happenned, even though I was in the car when it was stopped by police a few days later. Mr. Harper m...

"I endorse this lawyer. It is very clear from his many years of experience and his contributions that Mr. Harper is extremely knowledgeable and highly competent. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him."
"I crossed swords with Alex in trial several times when I was a deputy public defender in Kern County and Alex was a Deputy DA. Alex was smart, fierce, and zealous. His knowledge of the law was impressive and he absolutely gave me a run for my money every time we went to trial together. He was definitely committed to his role and professional obligations as a DA and I am sure that the same is true now that he has devoted his skills, experience, and knowledge to the defense side of criminal law. Any client of Alex is sure to be afforded the best defense possible. I can personally attest to the fact that if you hire Alex to defend you you'll have a smart, aggressive, and fearless attorney in your corner who will fight for you to the very end. Any client of Alex Harper is fortunate indeed."
"I endorse Alex. As a former prosecutor he has a big advantage. "They know that he knows what they know". If you are in or near Oakland do yourself a favor and schedule an interview."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Harper and I worked together as deputy district attorneys in the early stages of our careers in the felony trial division at KCDA. Alex is a dedicated lawyer who will fight for you and seek justice. He has also proudly and honorably served our country in uniform. If you are in the East Bay and have a serious criminal matter, he is without a doubt your guy!"

"I endorse Alexander. He is a highly skilled attorney that is well respected in the legal community."
"i worked against Mr. Harper on numerous cases during the time he was a DA in Bakersfield. He always was well prepared, knowledgeable on complex legal issues, and kept his cool under fire. He is one of the most genuine, honest and hardworking DA's that I have ever worked against (maybe that is why he left) . I know his days as a DA are over, and I am excited to see how far his career will go. I strongly recommend Alex to any potential client."
"I have known Alex Harper since 1997. He consistently displays outstanding honor, courage and commitment. He brings great attention to detail to his law practice. I proudly give him my highest endorsement as a Criminal Defense Attorney."
"Alex is a tenacious and dedicated attorney. His vast experience in criminal law, on both sides, gives him excellent insight into the process and most effective way to ensure justice is done. I highly recommend Alex."
