Linda Needham Risinger

I went to her with a coplex child custody and divorce case; she could not have handled it better and I wonder if some of the reviews are the other side to a divorce that she smoked. She was always available and would always listen to me. She was a fighter when I needed one and really got things don...e! From the very beginning to the very end, she was on top of my case and always had my best interest at heart. She was to the point and told me what I needed to hear, not always just what I wanted to hear. She was always prepared and always professional. Linda guided me through a very difficult situation and when it was over, made sure that everything was completed in a timely fashion. I used her after I fired my previous attorney and the difference was amazing. I always got copies of every document and she would be there to answer questions if I had any about what she sent. If I could not speak with her, she would make sure her assistant knew how to answer my questions. Her billings were fair and concise. I was truly blessed to find this attorney.

Our first meeting was mostly consumed by her telling stories with about 2 minutes spent on my case. I had an agreement in hand and all I had to do was to get it filed. Nothing ever happened! Nothing! She said texting was her preferred method of communication. When my test didnt't get answered, I... called and got one returned phone call until I fired her eight months later. As far as i can tell, she did nothing. When I replaced her with another attorney and requested a refund of my retainer she assured me it would be in the next days mail, that was over 6 onths ago. She won't take my calls and she won't return them and won't return any part of my retainer.

RUN, don't walk from this so called attorney. Communication is non existent. She sets appointments and doesn't keep them. She disappears and you don't hear from her for days, then she just reappears. Enough strange behavior to stay far, far away. She leads you to believe she has your back and as...ks you to trust her, DON'T believe it. When it comes down to it, she will get you in more trouble than actually resolving matters. By the way, I fired her and sought out a real attorney. You've been warned but It's your decision

My spouse and I were trying couples counseling, so here we were trying to work on things and she was continually adding fuel to the fire with her comments and suggestions. She is terrible at returning phone calls and keeping you informed, but it was like once she thought we might not need her servic...es, she then instigated issues. Just terrible!! This was not just our life she was adding fuel to, this was our children's as well!! Very unprofessional in my opinion. My spouses attorney was all for us working things out and rather encouraging for the benefit of our children.

I have used Linda for about a year for a child custody case. She did get me supervised visitation but never kept me informed during the process. I left emails, text messages, and even calls to her cell and office. She didn't respond to me for about 7 months until one day out of the blue she finally c...alled. She never mentioned receiving my emails or calls. She not once apologized for not responding. I am no longer using her once I hire a new attorney. If you are wanting to be kept in the loop about your case which you should, I would not recommend her at all!
