I am the former Judge of the 9th Judicial District Court. While serving as Judge, I presided over numerous, large, complex civil and criminal trials. Before taking the bench in 2013, I was a prolific trial have over 2 decades experience in winning trials and I am focused on the best possible outcome for my clients. I won the American Jurisprudence Award in torts and I have represented numerous people especially those holding professional licenses such as pilots, physicians and lawyers. As a former prosecutor, I have been on both sides of the table and know what it takes to negotiate on your behalf to reach the best solution for you. Ultimately, knowing that you have hired a winning trial lawyer, will serve you better in any negotiations.
I focus on helping clients move past the shock and pain of a divorce. The focus should be getting through the process while resolving the issues. Most importantly, I am able to get the help that families need to establish their new "normal." Divorce is difficult but it doesn't have to be nasty. By working to resolve the case, the parties can swiftly move through their difficulties and seek a resolution to end the conflict.
I hold a black belt in the Japanese martial art of Aikido. I bring that same intensity and focus to the courtroom which has led to great success in defending my clients. I thoroughly believe in using the latest technology and experts to assist me in trying cases and make a point of leaving no stone unturned in representing my clients as aggressively as possible. I am a former presiding judge of a district court, assistant district attorney and was responsible for training new assistant district attorneys how to prepare and try their cases while Chief of the Misdemeanor section.

Case dismissed in Montgomery County
I contacted Kelly, two days after I was charged with DWI. He set up an appointment the next afternoon to discuss my case. After our conversation I chose to have him represent me in my case. The county and state were slow to provide information that he requested and the case was reset every month for ...

Good Person, Great Lawyer!
I hired an attorney the day after I got my second DWI, after 3 months of no phone calls, very little contact and only one meeting MOSTLY about his contract, I knew I needed a better one. I did my research and struggled over the choice to even switch so late in the game. I was referred to Mr. Case a...

don't make the mistake of hiring someone else
Kelly represented me on my first ever DWI. However, this was not my first experience with DWI offenses and attorneys since I have been closely involved with DWI defense, on more than one occaision, for a very dear loved one. Let me tell anyone that reads this that they cannot make a better choice of ...

I'm so glad I hired Kelly Case as my lawyer!
I have hired Kelly for two charges in my past. About 4 years ago I hired him on a Poss. of Controlled Substance case back when I was in high school and stupid. He got me out of jail on a PR Bond and he got the charges dismissed! I ended up successfully being on probation for a year in order to get th...
"Kelly Case is a gifted trial lawyer and a leader in the legal community. I and many of our colleagues routinely seek Kelly's guidance in handling complex cases, especially those involving science. In addition to Kelly's exceptional intelligence and knowledge of many areas of law, Kelly is a formidable presence in the courtroom. I have never seen him back down from a challenge and the results he has obtained in some of the most difficult cases is simply astonishing."
"As a young lawyer I made sure to watch what Kelly Case was doing in court on his criminal defense cases. He was always on the cutting edge and constantly thinking outside the box on how to best defend his clients. Kelly would pull off miraculous results for his clients in trial despite overwhelming odds. Kelly helped myself and many others be better lawyers. He often contributed by publishing helpful articles and spearheading conferences. He even held a conference on blood alcohol analysis by gas chromatography. I still look to him for advice."
"Kelly Case has repeatedly impressed me with his mastery of the law, his commitment to his clients, and his commitment to seeing that justice is served. He is known for being an aggressive, competent trial attorney."
"Kelly W. Case is a zealous and effective defender in the courtroom. He has had a great balance in the criminal justice system by having experience as a prosecutor, judge and defense attorney. I definitely endorse this lawyer."
"Kelly Case has been a great example for lawyers in the Montgomery county and Harris county area for many years. His knowledge and skills will be a welcomed addition to the judiciary in Montgomery county. Congratulations, Judge Case!"
"I strongly endorse this lawyer. Attorney Case is highly respected in the legal community by his fellow lawyers and former clients. Not only is he experienced and knowledgeable about the law but he truly cares about each of his clients. If you are searching for an aggressive DUI/DWI attorney that will fight for you but who is also compassionate, Attorney Case is the lawyer for you."
"I endorse this lawyer.Kelly has the heart of a lion. He is a fighter and warrior who never gives in. He is highly respected and one of the best lawyers that i know. His clients are lucky to have a lawyer of his caliber."
"Kelly is an amazing lawyer that I learn from regularly. He's not only a passionate and effective lititgator, but he is also very intelligent in all of the various DWI disciplines: breath, blood, DRE, BWI, etc... Many times Kelly si able to win your case without going to trial due to his knowledge of the machines behavior. And if you are lucky enough to go to trial, he is very well respected by the Judges and DAs. Any client would be honored to have him as your attorney."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Case quickly responded to my requests for assistance in a DWI matter and was unhesitant to provide additional assistance."
"I have known Kelly W. Case for several years through our professional associations and by the fact that he practices law in the region slightly to the west of where I practice law. Kelly W. Case has an excellent reputation for winning advocacy and is considered by his peers to be at the top of his game. If I had a close friend or family member in need of a top lawyer in the field of drunk driving or criminal defense, I would recommend that they employ Kelly W. Case without delay. These are fields of law where hiring the 'right' representative can make a tremendous difference."
"Kelly is an exceptional lawyer. While most lawyers are satisfied with just knowing the law, Kelly is not. He constantly goes way beyond what is needed to prepare a person's case for court. I met Kelly at the American Chemical Society Forensic Gas Chromotography Course held in Chicago last fall. The course was a very intense five day course that taught us more about gas chromotography than most lab analysts who work in the state crime labs know. There are less than 30 lawyers in the country who have attended this class. Kelly is a ground breaker in the area that he practices. Kelly is the man to hire when facing a DUI charge in Texas."
"Mr. Case is a member of the National College of DUI Defense, and he has completed some of the most advanced training in the country on defending DUI cases. Anyone, would do well to hire Mr. Case for their DUI case."
"It is a pleasure to offer my endorsement of this lawyer's work. I had the honor of working with Kelly during our recent chromatography training seminar. I assure you that, if you are looking for an extremely knowledgeable and professional gentleman who you can count on as your attorney, Kelly's the guy."
"I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Case is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and hardworking. He is very well respected within the community and I highly recommend contacting him if you need help with a DUI or criminal defense matter. Very friendly and very accessible. Give him a call if you need legal help."
"Kelly is one of the most knowledgeable attorneys I have ever had the honor of working with. He is well known for vigorously and incessantly fighting for his clients rights and he is one of the most well respected DWI/Criminal Defense attorneys in South Texas. Kelly is the standard which every defense lawyer should measure themselves."
"Kelly Case is one of the top young criminal defense attorneys in the State of Texas. I participated in a capital murder seminar with Kelly at the University of Houston where his participation and intelligence in criminal matter was obviously outstanding. Kelly has recently presented on blood testing at the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association Top Gun Seminar in Houston and received top marks. His work on a controversial police brutality case resulted in a favorable verdict for his client. He also recently successfully defended a Capital Murder case that now makes him one of the best capital defenders in Texas."
"Although Kelly and I are on opposite ends of the state, I benefited from his help several times. Kelly's knowledge of the law is masterful. He is always striving to defend his clients with passion and creativity. He has shared studies and briefs with me that have benefited my clients. If I was charged with a DWI or criminal case in Kelly's area he would be my lawyer."
