Biography
Louis Lim has been a criminal defense attorney in Northwest Arkansas since 1996.
He has law offices in Bentonville and Springdale, Arkansas. He is one in a handful of private
practitioners in Northwest Arkansas who has successful jury trial experience in death penalty murder
cases. He is the first Korean American lawyer to practice law and try jury trials in Northwest Arkansas.
Louis Lim received his B.A. in Philosophy at Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL, in 1991.
He received his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, in Fayetteville, AR, in 1996.
Louis Lim is also a graduate from the Western Trial Advocacy Institute in Laramie, WY and
the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, GA. He is qualified to administer standardized
field sobriety testing, which is universally utilized by law enforcement agencies in DWI detection.

Attentive and Caring
Louis was very attentive in my case. Louis worked very hard for me and was able to dismiss my charge. He actually took the time needed on my case and worked very hard. I have hired other attorneys in the past and Louis was the only one that cared more about me than the money.
