Louis Sung-Hoon Lim

I don’t ever write reviews but this one is worth writing. In April 2016, I walked into Louis Lim’s office. I explained to Louis I had been charged with Aggravated assault on a family or household member, Class D Felony, Terroristic threatening in the first degree, Class D Felony, Domestic battering i...n the third degree, Class A Misdemeanor, and Endangering the welfare of a minor in the third degree, Class B Misdemeanor in November 2015 by the mother of my son. I also told him I was arrested again on March 17, 2016 for violating the protection order. Louis said he would do everything he could to help me so I asked him to represent me. At the time, I was skeptical he could help me because I had already met with several attorneys, and they suggested the outcome looked bleak and I should take a deal. I remember telling one attorney I was innocent and he said “you go to trial, you will be convicted and go to prison”. But Louis really fought for me. On October 31, 2016, I went to court in Rogers, AR for violating the restraining order. I was looking up to a year in jail. I didn’t think I would be going home that day. Louis got me a diversion order for one year with a dismissal if I wasn’t arrested again during that time. I was shocked and happy for the time to go home. I knew I still had a felony case pending. The Benton County Prosecutor’s Office was aggressive and I was looking up to six years for each felony count. Last week on Friday Louis called to inform me he could get the prosecuting attorney to agree to a diversion order for one year with a dismissal if I wasn’t arrested again during that time. He said he would call me later that day around 6PM with an update. He called me right on time and started going over the language on the agreed order. I couldn’t really hear him because of background noise. I asked him where he was at. Louis apologized and said he was in the emergency room at the hospital because he had just been in a vehicle accident. WOW! This guy was probably laying on a stretcher and was making sure all the I's are dotted and T's are crossed. That’s the last time I’ll ever say all lawyers are the same and that toasting a law school graduation is like celebrating a mating dance that brings more snakes into this world.

When served by the police with domestic charges in an incident that happened in July, I didn't know what to do. (I was looking at jail time)A friend referred me over to Louis knowing he would take care of me. Which he did!! Louis reassured me that he would do anything and everything to help. A divers...ion was set for one year before we had to appear in court. All I had to do is show up! He is an amazing lawyer/person who is outstanding at what he does. I am greatly humbled to have a fresh start with nothing hanging over my head. And Louis provided that opportunity. Thank you so much

I contacted louis lim for a court date of an order of proctection against me. I wasnt sure if he would be able to help because we had talked only one instance a week prior. Then I hired him a day before the court date( I was having finicial issues). with no time to spare we went over the details and ...his action plan. we stuck with it and by the end I walked away with no order of protection. very proffessional and easy to get along with personality, I recommend louis sung-Hoon lim for anyone.
