Megan Elizabeth Wooster

Megan recently saw me through an ex parte filing for emergency custody and a court hearing for an order of protection against my child's father. She took my case on short notice, got the ex parte in place within days of retaining her, in time before the next scheduled visitation, and responded quick...ly when I became aware my child and I were in grave danger and I needed to file for an order of protection. She commanded the courtroom during our hearing for the order of protection, and her line of questioning flustered both my ex and his attorney. Finally, after years, my child's ad litem and the judge saw him for who he really was, and we were granted the maximum protection permissible under the law. I have appreciated how professional and knowledgeable Megan is. I have appreciated how she has taken time to thoroughly answer my questions. I appreciated that she truly made me feel like MY case was HER case. Her assistant is meticulous, and between the two of them, they acknowledged and/or responded to every single text, e-mail, and phone call during the time I've worked with them so far. I often got responses after hours, even when they didn't have to make themselves available. I have never gotten so much value for money spent on legal fees. Megan is not the cheapest lawyer in town, but she's the absolute best, and I am so thankful she got me through this, and I will continue working with her in the coming years as we continue to navigate things.

My husband and I hired Megan to gain custody of my stepson at the age of 5. His mother was no longer able to take care of him and keep him safe due to a mental illness she refused to seek help with. Megan helped us to gain all of the evidence needed to make sure we would know the outcome once we ente...red the courtroom. She helped us with our patience, and walked us step by step through every stage of the process. Her legal assistant, Amber, was also invaluable to us during that time. Amber is now an attorney herself. Once we were in the courtroom, Megan proved why she is so reliable in winning cases. She is relentless. She does not let anyone say anything false without cross-examining and proving it to be false (hence all of the homework of evidence gathering on the front end that never seems to happen fast enough to desperate parents fighting for the safety of their children, but which is necessary). She saved our son's life. We truly believe that. We are forever indebted to her hard work and awesome presence in the courtroom.

I never thought I would need an attorney to advocate for me and my family. However, when I did, I was quickly referred to Megan by a friend that had used her before. Megan is very passionate and probably works harder than anyone I have witnessed. She was an amazing communicator and always kept me ...informed and updated. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing attorney services in a family case.

I cannot do these women justice! Megan and Ambere are, I just really can't even put into words what they are! I honestly don't think they ever sleep. I cannot count the late nights I have spent emailing and conversing with them. Ambere has always been available when I need her, she has helped me ...by editing texts before I send them and make an idiot of myself, talked me down off ledges and been a listening ear for all my troubles. I really don't know how I would've made it through this without her. She is truly the sweetest soul. She has helped me organize and document my case and life and made me feel like a normal human being again. I'm making myself sound incompetent, but some things are so stressful you just can't function and they truly coach you through it. The only downside is I feel bad sometimes to call or email her at all hours of the night or day, but she is always quick to respond and happy to hear from me. And Im never charged for any of Amber's time. I have no idea why, but that is amazing and clearly shows that these ladies care very much and are not just out to charge you an arm and a leg. They truly make themselves available and ease your concerns without bankrupting you. Before, I was afraid to call or talk to my attorney's office because it always cost me a fortune!!! Megan is like nothing I've ever experienced in an attorney. She is bright and bold. She is a firecracker in a tiny package. She's very blunt and gives it to you straight and she defends her clients protectively. My friends call her the bulldog! And now I see why!!! I'm so glad they referred me to her! I spent so much time and money on other attorneys, and there she was all along! This firm is a real gem. I keep them on speed dial! and the best thing? I consider them friends, Ambere even emailed me to ask how I was doing and if my children are ok, after my case was closed. They always remembered me and my children. It was so personable. I highly recommend them! They saved me and my babies!
