Simply the best!

I called Birc for a consultation on my case for allegations of Battery 2nd degree, Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Residential Burglary. Upon doing so I was met with a kind and knowledgeable person that was quick to listen to any question I had and provided real answers and a practical ending to my... turmoil. Ultimately I felt he was the perfect choice after sitting and consulting with him and sure enough he was! I gave him my case and he made my possible life sentence of two class Y felonies and a class B felony get reduced down to a class A misdemeanor through litigation with the courts. In a time where I couldn't keep my head up he was there to keep me in high spirits and openly answer every phone call no matter how many times I called. With my two cents put in....if you want a decent attorney call someone else, but if you want the best call Birc Morledge. He is a life saver!!!! No pun intended!!!

did not adequately represent my son

Mr moreledge is a wonderful communicator and convincing that he's on your side. He needs to take the time to know his clients. In my son's case, he apparantly judged him and is unaware of the bias that he had when reviewing the evidence. I do not feel he adequately represented him simply because he ...didn't take the time to know him . He was the one person that stood for my 18 year old sons life or liberty and did not care. He did not investigate or present facts important in my son's case and certainly did not present any mitigating circumstances and did not negotiate for a concurrent sentence. It's my opinion that if he would have taken the time to know my son, he would have provided adequate representation for him. In other words, I feel he is competent, however, needs to examine his own bias. My son was left without a voice because moreledge did not take the time to get to know him. He talked him into taking a plea bargain when there was very little evidence--- he was a high school student with no criminal history. (An example of his maturity... my son had never even drove a vehicle when he was charged... a child) .and Birc talked him into a 50 year sentence. With all of that said, I do not feel he adequately represented my son. My advice to him is to set aside the time it takes to get to know your clients and make sure you are not biased yourself, you know, like if you were selecting unbiased jurors. His clients are people, not statistics. Their lives are in his hands. Everyone deserves due process. He did not afford my son that right.

Running the drug premises possession paraphernalia providing alcohol to a minor manufacturing charge resisting arrest

Mr. Marlins got me out of every charge he got me probation and it turned all of my charges into three misdemeanor charges and had everything else dropped he was a great attorney I would recommend him to anyone anyone of my friends he's very professional always in contact with me always reassuring me ...that everything will be ok and still in contact with me to make sure I'm doing everything okay and then my probation officer is doing when you're right and it's going to help me further by helping me get my record expunged I would definitely recommend him to anybody that would have a problem in or around Little Rock
