Birc was the worst lawyer I ever could’ve asked for. I decided to hire him for a case in 2015, thinking that he or anyone else could get me off (I was innocent) of the Petty crime of Disorderly conduct. I worked double shifts to pay him, and on the day of court he didn’t even show up to be there with... me. He convinced me to take a deal, even when the other side didn’t even have evidence, I paid court costs and STILL to this day the arrest is dinging my record and causing me to have Hastles to apply to other jobs. Contacted him to expunge the case and he took months, and still never got it done! I asked for a refund and it took more weeks before I received it! If you’re thinking of hiring him LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE OR GET A PUBLIC DEFENDER

Mr moreledge is a wonderful communicator and convincing that he's on your side. He needs to take the time to know his clients. In my son's case, he apparantly judged him and is unaware of the bias that he had when reviewing the evidence. I do not feel he adequately represented him simply because he ...didn't take the time to know him . He was the one person that stood for my 18 year old sons life or liberty and did not care. He did not investigate or present facts important in my son's case and certainly did not present any mitigating circumstances and did not negotiate for a concurrent sentence. It's my opinion that if he would have taken the time to know my son, he would have provided adequate representation for him. In other words, I feel he is competent, however, needs to examine his own bias. My son was left without a voice because moreledge did not take the time to get to know him. He talked him into taking a plea bargain when there was very little evidence--- he was a high school student with no criminal history. (An example of his maturity... my son had never even drove a vehicle when he was charged... a child) .and Birc talked him into a 50 year sentence. With all of that said, I do not feel he adequately represented my son. My advice to him is to set aside the time it takes to get to know your clients and make sure you are not biased yourself, you know, like if you were selecting unbiased jurors. His clients are people, not statistics. Their lives are in his hands. Everyone deserves due process. He did not afford my son that right.
