I am originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. I attended the University of Louisiana ( then USL). After graduating UL I enrolled at LSU Law School in Baton Rouge. After graduating in 1985 I was a law clerk for the State First Circuit Court of Appeal.
I then practiced in the New Orleans area for two years before moving back to Baton Rouge to establish my private practice in 1988.
I am married to my High School sweetheart and the proud father of four kids, and 3 grandchildren.
I am also an avid LSU Football (VERY Avid)!
I enjoy practing personal injury law for the variety of great people I get to meet.
I enjoy employment law for the intellectual challenges this engaging and stimulating area of the law presents.

I received answers to my questions very quickly. However, I still felt inclined to get another opinion, because I felt the answers to my questions were slightly vague.
Thanks for the thoughtful review. I know how you feel. It's very frustrating when answers aren't always as clear as we'd like them to be. Unfortunately this isn't cookie cutter law like you see on TV or where if the light was red and the other person ran it things are cut and dry. The issue is employment laws are so complex few lawyers want to even deal with them in the first place. Anyone that's searched for a real employment lawyer knows that. Then, not only are laws so complicated, but the facts are usually so highly disputed by the employer it's hard to tell sometimes just what happened, let alone decide what can be proved in a court of law. On top of that people are understandably emotional after being let go. At Will law is very unfair. It's difficult to make hurt people understand that most of what happened to them just isn't illegal, no matter how unfair it seems. I try not to be one of those lawyers that leads a client on and tells them how great their case is only to drop it later when they investigate and their early suspicions turned out to be true. I don't see how that benefits my clients if I'm not a straight shooter with them and it makes for hard feelings. But I take your comments to heart and I'll work on being less vague in the future. Thank You and Good Luck!

Very informative and hard working. He provides information and good decision making opportunities. Brought opportunities to capitalize on better benefits that I do not know and articulated these opportunities to maximize information flow to all parties. He always stayed in contact and was easy to hav...
