I came to Will for my DWI. I interviewed many lawyers in town. Will was the only one that seemed interested in me as a person and not a paycheck. He and his associate David Back represented me. I also want to applaud his personal development of the MyCase software that was so very helpful throughout the process. I could access the site at any time to see any of the legal documents associated with my case and know exactly where I stood during what ultimately became a 13 month process before it was resolved. I found it a very effective way to communicate with both him and his staff - there were no emails lost in cyberspace nor below several hundred other emails. MyCase was also quite efficient at notifying me of updates to my case or the arrival of a related email IMMEDIATELY. If Will was not immediately available (most likely because he was in court), one of his staff quickly replied and let me know either the answer to my question or when he would be able to answer me. I was impressed not only with how Will presented my case when I had my day in court but also his interactions with everyone in the courthouse, up to and including the judge. They clearly held a mutual respect for one another, especially in contrast to other defense lawyers I have seen. Once we were finished, I asked Will what other areas of law he and his colleagues in his office practiced and they are continuing to expand as needed to serve their clients effectively. From this point forward, they will be my first stop in handling any legal situation I handle, including financial, personal trust, and real estate issues. I have full confidence not only in them but that they will not hesitate to refer me to best possible attorney if I need legal advice in a field in which they do not practice. Finally, and most importantly, Will and each and every member of his staff treated me as a person. He knew this was an extremely challenging time for me and did not hesitate to reassure me of the big picture and share his vast expertise of where to focus my energies. His support was essential in ensuring that I did not break down (and thus hurt my case) during my turn to address the court. Will provided me with several essential strategies to handle exactly what happened in regard to the other person's lawyer and how not reacting to their misinformation was the best way to ensure that my best interests were served. And, by being honest about what I was facing, Will did not lead me down a rosy path with a thorny end. To the very end, he made sure my best interests were respected and protected. Mr. Worsham is not only a good person but a great attorney. I was from out of town and had a DUI charge so I didn't know what to expect. He was very upfront and laid out the whole process. Not only was he able to get me a suspended imposition of sentence but I never lost my driving privileges even... for a day. He is very respected in the court room and will fight for his clients to get the best outcome.
