Biography
C.D. Longo is a Managing Partner and Founder of Longo Biggs, LC. Mr. Longo was born and raised in the South County area of St. Louis. C.D. attended the University of Missouri–Columbia and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Communication and Psychology.
After his undergraduate studies at Mizzou, Mr. Longo received his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Longo was selected to mentor a group of incoming law students. He is a member of the Bar Association and licensed to practice in Missouri.
Mr. Longo was recruited by an oil and gas corporation following his graduation from law school. Throughout his tenure with the corporation, Mr. Longo received numerous promotions and eventually served as their General Counsel and Executive Vice President. This experience allows him to have a unique understanding of what companies’ actual legal needs are, how legal concerns directly affect business, and the importance of finding cost-effective solutions.
While working at a publically traded oil and gas company in Houston, Texas, Mr. Longo negotiated, wrote, and reviewed thousands of contracts, with some of the business negotiations concerning hundreds of millions of dollars. During his employment, Mr. Longo was involved in numerous lawsuits, both as the party pursuing legal action and as the defendant.
As a Partner at Longo Biggs, LC, Mr. Longo has obtained successful outcomes in a wide range of both civil and criminal cases, including DWIs, personal injury cases, car accidents, products liability, business litigation, contract disputes, and criminal defense.
Personally, C.D. enjoys staying active with his wife, daughter, and Labrador Retriever. Whenever possible he loves to get a foursome together for a round of golf.
